Jana's an incredibly naive freshman. I think that maybe she would have this huge crush on him, because of his southern charm. It's up to you if the crush is reciprocated or not, but I think that her overall naivety would be a turn off. Her vision of the prefect relationship is very Disney (think Cinderella). Let me know what you think!

I think Eli would probably find her crush cute at first, and he might even reciprocate for a while. I think as he found out more about her he would probably be kind of turned off to her, but he still wouldn't want to hurt her (kindness as a fatal flaw, anyone?). He would probably try to let her down gently, maybe even try to still be friends with her because she is a nice girl, just too naive even for Eli. Maybe if it didn't get awkward, he could become like an older brother-type? Whether or not she still has a crush on him is up to you...I like your idea, and I think it would be fun! What do you think?

I like the idea of him trying to elt her down easy, and maybe it not working. She would be heart broken that the "man of her dreams" didn't want her back. That being said, she would eventually realize it was for the greater good (after he grew up a little) and be friends

i took up lena's character request for mallory's final, so here he is, but i really really don't want to interrupt or mess up what you two have already plotted. mallory and eli are going to be together for a while, right? what lena and i were talking about on aim the other day was for mallory to start getting involved with cal while she's still with eli, and then i think (correct me if i'm wrong, lena!) mallory was going to confess that to eli in a fit of guilt, and then problems all round. like i said, i really don't want to mess up what you have planned for eli, so i wanted to try to involve him in mallory/cal's plot if possible and also run everything by you. so, let me know what you think - a no is as good as a yes, i don't know if these ideas will work - and the three of us can work something out together!

That sounds fine to me! It couldn't hurt the kid to have his heart broken. I like the idea a lot. Now just to figure out a bit of a time frame on Eli + Mallory...I figure it probably wouldn't be very long...just long enough for him to get attached, I think.

pffft. velvet, assuming that i plot stalk. thats just crazy. but yeah, basically. thats what we came up with. though i wasnt' thinking that she would do much with cal while eli and mallory were together, i was just thinking that maybe they would kiss and guiltily, she would tell eli here he would dump her and they could both run in opposite directions. of course her heart would be broken just as much as his but i'm assuming that Branch here would try to make her feel better.

Posey & Eli

It might not make a lot of sense to some people, but I think I'd really like for these two to end up being friends. It might take a little work for that to happen, depending on how they first meet you know how first impressions can sometimes be a real pain in the arse. Something about Posey that few people know is that it was always her dream to go perform in Broadway Musicals, she was really serious about it. But then she got hurt really bad in an 'accident' and it ruined her chance at dancing, so she gave up on her dream. Ever since then she started to draw and paint trying to find another outlet to express herself, other than her trouble making and pranks that is. But it's a part of her she's afraid to open up and let anyone in on. And she's really not that bad once you get to know her, most people just don't take the time or put in the effort though.

I'm not sure how the two of them would know each other, since she's not in any clubs or sports. Maybe friends through a friend. Not really close at first- but always polite and nice towards one another when they are in the same area. They could always work on becoming actual friends, or just stay at polite- that's all up to you.

I think they would have one of those "You're weird...but you're cool." kind of friendships. I agree that it'd probably get off to a rough start. They have several similarities in personality, he's probably just more on the good kid side. I think they'd get along quite well, though. They're both creative and outgoing.

THE TRIO

(I stalk it, too. I just procrastinate.) I really like this whole plot. Like, a lot. And I think he would probably break up with her for kissing Cal because, you know, first girlfriend and all. He'd be pretty hurt, which would override his forgiving trait.

I don't know. I can't really see them knowing each other on anything more than an acquaintance level since they don't do any of the same activities, and don't even have the same-grade factor. We could always come back to these two if we think of anything?

again. i don't plot stalk. but i totally thhink there has to be a confrontation thread. like callory are totally official and then eli sees them and totally disses mallory and cal comes to defend her and this whole who loves her more thing can break out. i think i might die if we can do that. i would cry and stuff. cause of the perfection, you know. so yeah. lets do that.

The reason for the confrontation is probably going to depend on how this other plot I'm working on with Eli and Iris goes (crossing fingers that they go for the idea). Mostly however the timeline goes. If it's before he realizes that he likes Iris, the confrontation Lena suggested will work fine. If it's after, it would mostly be because cheaters piss him off...a lot. Either way, I get to see Eli get mad...I wanna see that. If you want to go for before, that is perfectly fine with me...in fact, that could be how he ends up with Iris...oops, thinking aloud again...
