looking for:

A girl to be hopelessly devoted to. Not talking about a relationship. Just one to have a hopeless crush on. He'd do anything for her no matter how ridiculous, do anything to make her laugh. She doesn't have to like him back, she could be in a relationship, she just would have to be good friends with him, somewhat enjoy his company. Perhaps she'd know that he likes her, but continually ignore the fact and just keep playing dumb.

A girl that's a friend. Preferably a best friend to skate with or teach to skate. Perhaps she has a crush on him and despises the girl Scotland has a crush on. He's a huggy-type of friend, so everytime he saw her--bear hug. They'd most likely hang out a lot, continuously be asked if they were a couple, etc.

Friends and Enemies

Scotland has a pretty abrasive sense of humor. So people who meet him for the first time either love him or hate him. the ones who do become friends fast and play pranks and hang out a lot. His personality goes both ways. The people who hate him get quite offended by something he said or the way he phrases things. He dislikes people who can't laugh at themselves anyway, so even he's better off. Maybe people are put off by his style as well. What is he? Skater? Emo? He's got a lip ring... but he's black. Hipster? Gangster? Who knows.

Loves

Not loves really. Although he's a hopeless romantic, there are some girls who always want to see what the black guy at school has to offer. He's somewhat flirty, sometimes his friends that are girls misinterpret his motives. But if it leads to one night stands... it's fine with him. Perhaps his friendly nature toward his friends is why he could never really keep a girlfriend around for more than a couple of months.

SCOTLAND&ISABELLA
He's kind of far off in left field for her usual acquaintances but I think she would be interested in that. His humor might be a little crude for her usual but people need someone around that can loosen them up and have a good time with without having to worry about pretenses or any of the other things that might inhibit them. Scotland seems like a good fit for that. If you're interested in making her the girl he's crushing on that's cool if not they can simply be friends.

Tariq & Scotland -
I think these two could be really good friends. Abrasive? Yesss. Tariq's the overachiever type and can at times be over-prudent - to the point of not really being much of a teenager - so I think that Scotland would be a good influence on him in that sense. Whether he was playing pranks on Tariq or getting Tariq to help him with them against other people, it'd be good to push him into some spontaneity and fun. On the other side of that, Tariq would probably try to dissuade Scotland from some of his more reckless daredevil behaviour, whether he listened to him or not, and not really be too nice about it. So it might be that they balanced each other out, or whether it'd gradually put an end to their friendship, we'd have to just see how it played out. Tariq is also in a really similar situation as far as the romantic side of things goes - he's got a hopeless crush on Annabel which basically parallels what you described in your plotter - sooo he could easily commiserate.

Lorelei & Scotland -
Lorelei would find Scotland attractive, but she's really, really hard work to be around. Maybe they had a past relationship/fling of some description.

Scotland & Isabela

That could work well. If she's a thrill seeker, they would have something in common. He'd like her spirited-ness and would possibly be able to tolerate her tantrums. Although, she'd usually get her way when she's around him, sooo I don't know if that'd be very often. Haha. =) Let's have a thread and see where it goes.

Scotland & Tariq

Awesome! Tariq seems perfect. They're both seniors and their last names are right next to each other; chances are they've known each other since they were freshmen and sat next to each other in almost every class or every dumb assembly with assigned seating. Also, left-wing politics: they've probably had numerous conversations and debates about that. Scotland dabbled in local OWS chapters. But Tariq seems a lot more serious than Scotland. He might be always on a quest to make Tariq laugh. =D

Scotland & Lorelei

I think the fling would work. Hmm... the way I see them interacting is her being extremely rude to him and Scotland just laughing at her and being like "i like you." He doesn't take himself or anyone else too seriously and has a pretty thick skin around people he doesn't know very well. I doubt Lorelei would give him a second glance at school around her friends, but he'd probably say hi and try to talk to her if he knew it bothered her.

STEVIE && SCOTLAND There's definitely potential for some romance between the two. Stevie's on that line between being a girlygirl and a tomboy. She loves shopping when the mood strikes her, but she's also down for skateboarding and wrestling and all that jazz. She'd definitely be attracted to his sense of humor and the graffiti (if that was something she'd know about). They could have met while she was still a student so they could already start as friends. He's definitely someone she would start getting feelings for, which would have her getting more playfully aggressive towards him on top of teasing humor. Whether anything comes out of it is your choice but I think it'd be adorable.

GIOVANNI && SCOTLAND He's pretty friendly to everyone he meets. They probably have a few classes together to have met through. They could be casual friends. He wouldn't mind Scotland's humor at all.

HART && SCOTLAND Hart wouldn't like him much.

XAVIER && SCOTLAND While Xavier would also be really friendly to Scotland, he wouldn't understand that the humor is just humor. He'd think Scotland was being serious but he'd still be kind to him.

I love herrrr. She's so pretty. ;w; They need to be bros. They seem like they would have made friends really quickly so she'd know all about his antics and graffiti-ing. Ahaha, perhaps she'd participate too? Their physical natures match, so they could rough house without a second thought. Scotland would hesitate to call her a sister, since he already has three (doesn't need another one ahaha) and they might act like they're together since they're so close, but she would most likely know about the hopeless crush he has. Ehehe, I'm excited

Averagely friendly. Like they're the type he'd talk to if there was no one else to talk to. You know?

so im thinking a sort of curious friendship type thing maybe? where she meets him at the skating rink or something and she finds him all too out there and her shyness will make her want to stay away from him but he might want to become friends, seeing as she's a pretty great skater and all. i dunno. feel free to add/subtract/expand on anything.

SCOTLAND&&COHEN These two I think would be pretty casual friends. I don't think Scotland would be someone that Cohen would hang around with most of the time, but I can't see him being unfriendly and he would probably stop and have a chat and stuff with him. He may be a little taken aback by Scotland's sense of humour, but would probably get used to it.

I'm not sure actually. I can't get a good grasp of Cohen's personality. Like, if he's a jerk just to be a jerk and he continues being popular just... because, Scotland would probably dislike him. Scotty doesn't have anything against sleeping around, but from the outside it might look like Cohen deliberately does it to see how many chicks he can get and that's also something he'd dislike him for. Perhaps their relationship could be a bunch of misunderstandings. It only depends on the people Cohen actually hurt if Scotland would be active in his dislike of him. Scotland at the moment seems to have a lot of friends who are girls, so if one of them said something to him about Cohen, he's probably try to exact some sort of revenge.

Also, I'm just rambling trying to figure it out. Ahaha~ See, if Scotty doesn't know anything then they're cool. Business as usual~

SCOTLAND&&COHEN Ooh, actually that sounds more interesting. These two could be interesting enemies and at the beginning, Cohen might not know why Scotland doesn't like him, but he eventually finds out. I can see Cohen probably hurting one of Scotland's girl friends and not thinking anything of it until Scotland comes after him. The whole thing should be tons of misunderstandings, like Cohen does something and Scotland takes it the wrong way and vise versa.
