sorry if there's a suggestions board somewhere and i just didn't see it! anyway, i have a couple of little suggestions for things that could be added~
firstly, i was thinking... maybe an info thread about the school? quite a few of us aren't from the US, and i know i at least really don't know how the school system really works. (i know how it goes freshman - sophomore - junior - senior and that's it). and tbh i don't know anything about private or boarding schools in any country, haha. more specifically, maybe a little about the things that are particular to mayview? like school rules, if there's a uniform, how many students there are, what the dorms are like. just the kind of thing that's useful to know for ic threads.
the other thing i was thinking, it would be really cool if there was some kind of subplot? that kind of thing is always fun to bring characters together and into conflict. for example, a boarding school site i saw a couple of months ago had a plot where there was a competition between the dorms that got cancelled due to foul play, but then the rivalry continued in the form of pranks between the students which escalated over time. that's fun and fits a light-hearted tone. i can't think of any more examples off the top of my head, but some kind of sitewide subplot to do with the school. this might be a dumb idea, but something could happen to cause the students (or maybe just some students?) to be trapped at the school over the winter holidays and trouble could ensue.
