You see, Costello Wollf is a strange peacock of a man. He's hard to pin down. And so, the few facts about him which never change are important. Costello comes from money, like a lot of the students at Mayview. He comes from old money: the youngest son of an Austrian Lord. To look at him, you would never guess it. No one's ever paid him much attention, so he's had the chance to become an eccentric and a rebel under the radar. He loves motorbikes, drinking, politics, bucking authority, swimming upstream. He's everything his father hates, and he loves it. In fact, his father's hatred is the key reason why he keeps his hair long: the shame his father must feel having a son who is more often than not mistaken for a woman. Costello Eder Wollf is opinionated. He adores politics. He has no qualms about telling people exactly how strongly he disagrees with them, or how idiotic he thinks they are. He is blunt. He is, to be honest, rude. He's bitchy, to the extreme - as much a queen bee as he looks. He is also incredibly honest: about himself, and about everything else. Costello is loyal to the few people he likes. He likes trendsetters, and hates people who follow the crowd. Tello has an incredible off-the-wall sense of humour. And you know what else? He's spontaneous. Energetic, and unpredictable. That's why he's a year older than the other sophomores: after his freshman year, he skipped out on a year of school to take a motorcycle tour of Asia- spontaneously, and without saying a word to anyone. friends Costello will be lucky if anyone is willing to take him on as a friend. He's rude. His temper is explosive. He always wants to be in charge, and he always has an opinion. On the other hand, should you win him over, Tello is enthusiastic, protective, fiercely loyal, and a definite joker. Life is never dull. enemies Many, many, many. Let's face facts, he's a difficult kid. lovers Costello likes both men and women, and he loves sex. He is definitely a candidate for casual flings, and isn't above using his feminine looks to win over a man. He's a terrible flirt, and capable of being charming if it'll get him into someone's pants. She's the young head chef of the canteen, and since she's worked here, the food has really been kicked up a mile in quality. Because Cappy loves to cook. It's her greatest passion in the world, and she has always been dedicated to being the very best. To perfection. She's sweet, colourful and upbeat - known for being a bubble of sunshine. A bubble of sunshine who is punctual, determined, and never willing to be taken advantage of. Cappy used to be a student here at Mayview, and she made a name for herself as one of the best and brightest. A scholarship student, she dropped out at sixteen, to the distress of her tutors and her family. But she knew what she wanted to do. She has always been driven - and with her determination and her passion, she's made quick work of the food industry. The thing with Cappy though, is that she is almost like two different people. There's the face she shows the world: the bright, bubbly, kind-hearted chef with passion and drive and dedication. But then, when no one is looking, there's the real Cappy. The girl who more than anything needs to prove to herself and to her disapproving family that she can make something of herself. The girl who is terrified of enclosed spaces. Who works so hard and so late that she barely sleeps, and makes herself sick. The girl who is an alcoholic, and is scared of going a day without a drink. friends Cappy is a sweet, bubbly girl. That being the case, she's pretty easy to be friends with. The problem is, that side of her only goes so deep. Cappy has a lot of problems she doesn't want people to see, and she's pretty guarded about letting people get too close. Still, I can see her having quite a few friends and perhaps a few close friends that she can be honest with. Plus, her friends will be fed incredibly well. enemies There will be a few people who Cappy has let down in the past - she does her best, but she can't be everywhere, and do everything. And her priorities sometimes leave her friends behind her drinking and her career. Also, she won't like anyone who stands in the way of her career, or who looks down on her. lovers Cappy doesn't have time for love. She has a career, and an image to maintain, and a lot of issues no one can be allowed to see. But in the end, I would love more than anything for someone to love her for all her flaws, and for her to be happy! -secret romantic- [/style]

COSTELLO & LORELEI I want to say friends, but Costello is an outcast. Actually, screw it, I still want to say friends. Lorelei doesn't give a toss about politics or, frankly, anything intellectual - don't get me wrong, she's probably the second most intelligent of my characters, but she loves the superficial - but in terms of world-view and his more carnal interests, I think they have more in common. Both of them have strong, uncompromising personalities and look great in a leather jacket. Friendships have been built on less.

COSTELLO & TARIQ I think they'd at least know each other by sight, because it strikes me that someone like Costello would really stand out at Mayview, haha. Tariq would definitely know who he was. I'm not sure whether they'd actually know each other, though.

COSTELLO & RAFA Enemies! Rafa thinks motorbikes are ~super cool~, but he's the definition of crowd-follower and tries to keep the peace. They'd be completely at odds with each other.

COSTELLO & BRANCH They're both outcasts, so they might know each other that way - there might be a bit of ~~solidarity between the school's loners, if that isn't a contradiction. But Branch is weird in a much more uncool way, plus he's a threadbare scholarship student, so I'm not sure whether they'd really be friends as such. Costello would tire him out.

They'll be the most ridiculous friends ever. They can rant and rage simultaneously about completely opposite things, neither of them listening to the other, and then have girly nights where they drink and do each others' hair. They'll compare sexual conquests, try on dresses, and watch gossip girl. Then at the end of the night, Tello will remember he's a man, and go for a ride on his motorbike in an effort to seem manly again. I imagine if they ever actually listened to each other they'd probably hate each other

COSTELLO+TARIQ
And I'm sure Tello will know of Tariq - hell, he's got a huge reputation! I was thinking about it, and y'know what would be fun? If back when Tariq was a sophomore and Tello a fresher, Tariq mistook Costello for a girl (easy to do) and hit on him? And to this day, Costello always flutters his eyelashes at him, and blows him kisses, and gives him flowers, because he's a bitch, and he'd think it was comedy gold. Also, Tello refuses to be in the debate club on principal, but I can see him breezing in for a particularly interesting topic, throwing an ungodly smart and passionate speech down, and then breezing away. Basically, I think he could be a tormentor for Tariq, if you like?

COSTELLO+RAFA
Yup. Definite enemies. Costello will spend his life shooting Rafa dirty looks, and implying that he has no personality or dreams of his own, and that he is a empty shell of a puppet for popularity. Because, unfortunately, that is how he thinks and talks. And he'll rub his motorbikes in his face every step of the way. It would be fun if one day Rafa bitch slaps Costello into place Then they could be arch enemies rather than just have a casual hatred (:

COSTELLO+BRANCH
I don't think Tello would have too much time for Branch. Branch is an outcast, and outside of the social norm, so I can imagine that Costello tried to make an alliance, but then didn't really get along with him, so didn't make the effort. I see it as they acknowledge each other, and Tello says a good word for him every now and then. Other than that, it would be a question of Tello ranting and raving at Branch if he makes the mistake of sitting alone and unprotected, then wondering off without listening to a word Branch might say, and leaving the poor ginger exhausted. But hey, as ever, up to you!

Obvious enemies. Firstly, Sye has sworn to hate all girls and unfortunately he looks like one. She'd be one of those people who genuinely thinks he is a girl until someone points out otherwise and even then she'll be like 'no she's not'. That aside, I think she'd like arguing with him. It would be awesome if they had an enemy relationship to begin with, which turns into frenemies until they become kind-of friends but don't (really admit it) as time goes on and grow more familiar to each other. Sometimes people just like to have a person to conflict with. Not to mention they could be so sassysassysassy.

ugh. absolutely. sass-fest! and costello would make absolutely no effort to tell her he is a man. it's one of his many little bitchy games he gets kicks out of. I totally agree, I can see them hating each other so much that it's enjoyable, and ending up as mad-hatter friends. Which is always the best. then they can become a sassy super duo and terrify everyone at mayview. <3

lyndsay n costello perfect. perfection. gorgeous. amazing. completely in love. can i find someone like him in real life, please? anyway, i can see these two being verrrry good friends, maybe even with benefits? lyndsay loves sex, too, and in some ways, she's the exact opposite of costello - but you know what they say, opposites attract. she's rather calm, doesn't get upset easily, and if she does you'd never know it. she loves listening to others talk so someone whose uber opinionated and makes that well known is perfect for her. she's an outcast, too, which makes everything better. c:

so you said you'd love for someone to eventually tame him? i think that'd work out perfect for the two of them. they'd start out slow, of course, because it doesn't seem like either of our characters like to rush into committed relationships. but after awhile of fooling around with both each other, and others, maybe they could decide to give it a go, and it turns out to be something mutually beneficial, at the very least? lyndsay tends to like to raise hell under the radar, too, and i can see the two of them causing a whole lot of it together, especially as a couple. what do you think?

Hey Autumn!! This sounds wonderful! I can definitely see Costello being fairly abrasive towards her to begin with, because that's how he is with everyone. However, if she can move past that, everything you've said sounds amazing! I can definitely see them becoming close, and without a doubt there will be some fooling around. Costello will even start to be very protective and caring of her, which is all but unheard of from him. And we can see where they go from there! Fancy a thread at all? xxx
