FIFTEEN. AVERAGE. WRITING CLUB. NEWSPAPER. CROSS COUNTRY.
This is Philippa. Just Philippa, no nicknames, although her brother occasionally gets away with calling her Phil. She is a generally bubbly, outgoing young girl who is at the moment pretty happy with her life. She's got an average family - two parents, and two older siblings. All three of the Prescott kids grew up in Fairmont, Minnesota, where their parents decided to call home. For the most part they all get along pretty well, save a few of your usual family spats. Even though her family isn't really all that big, she's always loved kids and wants lots of her own someday. She also loves writing, and hopes to be a bestselling author one day, and she loves reading, especially classical literature. Actually, she just likes books in general. She's doing cross country because her parents insisted she do something athletic, and she doesn't mind running and jogging, so she chose cross country. Overall, Philippa is just a sweet girl. A little naive and overly trusting, but sweet.

[/i] Philippa loves people, and being social in general, not to mention her bubbly, outgoing nature. So, I'd say she has some friends. She's not popular or anything, but it's not like everyone hates her either. I'd like her to have at least a couple really close friends, and then everyone else who falls under this category can just be average friends I guess, if you want to call it that, or acquaintances I guess. Enemies.[/i] Nobody loves everyone they meet, and I'm sure there will be at least a few people who get under Philippa's skin, or who's skin she gets under. If you have anyone who you think she just wouldn't get along with, by all means, let's throw 'em into the enemies group and see what happens. Lovers.[/i] Being as one of her dreams is to fall in love, get married, have a truckload of kids and live happily ever after, Philippa would eventually like to have a serious boyfriend. She's had a couple casual relationships before, but nothing too serious. She's kind of traditional about the whole dating thing, and is pretty innocent and naive. Pretty much, don't expect her to be sleeping around just for fun. On the other hand, she's a bit of a hopeless romantic, and could fall head over heels in love with some poor random guy at any minute. We'll just have to wait and see. I've got Logan here and I would love to do a thread with these two. Logan is a little older than Philippa but I think that Logan would like her at least as a friend. He's a pretty charming guy but not "prince charming" by any means. He's average as well. They aren't really involved in the same things but I could see him running so they could bump into each other on a jogging path or something. He isn't looking for any kind of a serious relationship right now but that could change later. As of now, I can see them being friends or good acquaintances. So yeah, let me know what you think.

I'd totally be up for them being friends/acquaintances, and I think a thread of them meeting while jogging could be fun. I'd love to get started on that right away. I should give you a heads up though, I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow and will be gone for ten days or so, and may or may not be able to get on to post.

I think they'd get along quite nicely - they're both outgoing sophomores who run cross country from average families. I figure he'd probably fancy her, at least for a while, because he tends to fall in like pretty easily. She can friend zone him or whatever you want - I just think they'd make cute friends. Whatever you want to do with that is a-ok with me!

They'd be adorable together - as friends or whatever works. I like to just throw my characters in threads and see what happens, maybe something will come of it? Anyway, it'd be great to do a thread with the two of them.

He's two years older than her so I'm not sure they would be friends, but she would know Tariq pretty well from newspaper - he's recently become the editor. He takes it very seriously and is very strict about deadlines, and depending on what she's like as a member of the club, there might be a couple of problems between them because of that. Maybe he gives her a heavier workload than she can cope with. Maybe he underestimates her abilities and doesn't give her enough to do. Maybe he criticises one of her pieces too harshly. Something like that! Basically, he's not an easy person to work under. Otherwise, he knows Elijah Masters, so if she's friends with him, he might look out for her a little.

Yeah, it'd be nice for her to have some interaction with the editor. Philippa takes her writing pretty seriously, so if Tariq criticized her too harshly, she'd take it to heart and feel pretty bad about it, or if he underestimated her and gave her a smaller work load than she'd like, Philippa wouldn't be too happy, and wouldn't be afraid to confront him about it.
I'm not sure where Eli and Philippa will be at, but thus far it sounds like they'll be friends, so Tariq looking out for her a bit could work too. Whatever you want to do.
