He never was one to sleep much at night, usually staying up for long hours and maybe crashing for an hour or two before having to get up again. He didn't have anyone he could bother, his phone had fallen silent for the past hour. He figured maybe some online time would be good. As it would be, he did find someone that was sharing night time issues.
It hadn't been a bad conversation so when she made the obvious suggestion of coming to get coffee with her, he figured it couldn't kill him. He pulled on his black hoodie after closing his lap top and then quickly slipped out of his room. She was right though, he had snuck out a time or two. He stepped outside closing the door quietly and then headed towards the courtyard. She had told him fifteen minutes but he had only taken a little less then ten. He knew he would have to wait for her. Unless she was early as well.
Ozwald found a spot where hed be able to see most all of the courtyard. He leaned against the building his hands in his hoodie pockets as he waited and watched.

Katherine closed her laptop and placed it carefully on her bedside table. She slipped off her bed and quietly dug a pair of moccasins from underneath her bed. She could feel the nervous excitement that accompanied her every time she did something new building in her stomach. The feeling never became old, and it by no means meant that she was afraid of what she was about to do.
Slinging her purse over her head so that the strap fell across her body, she eased open the door to her room just far enough for her to slip into the hallway. She stuck her head out first to make sure the coast was clear. Satisfied that she was alone, she quickly but silently made her way out of the dormitory toward the courtyard, gripping the room key around her neck so it wouldn’t jingle against its chain as she walked.
She stopped in the shadows at the entrance to the courtyard, looking around to see if he had arrived yet. She was sitting right at eleven minutes past her last message. At first she didn’t see him, but as her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she spotted him leaning against the far wall, dressed in a black hoodie. Katherine made her way quickly across the courtyard, staying out of the middle. ”Good mor-“ she began to whisper, but was cut off by a massive yawn that she covered with her fingertips. ”-Ning,” she finished sheepishly. ”Hope I didn’t make you wait too long; I had to sharpen my knives real quick.” She gave him a joking grin, adjusting the strap of her bag.
