eli is a sophomore at mayview academy. this sixteen year old is quite a handful. his family, like many families in hadley, michigan, is rich. this means that he can get away with almost anything and his father or mother will bail him out. this has led him to pick up a nasty habit of pill popping. he raids purses and medicine cabinets of family friends and keeps them in his own private collection. he wouldn't quite say he's a drug dealer, he hates that term. eli prefers unlicensed therapist. if you're looking for anything from ritalin to ambien, eli is your guy. you know the product is quality because he uses the pills himself. he likes to go to parties and socialize like any other high school student, but you can bet he has ulterior motives. he suspects his parents know of his prescription medication use but they don't care enough to say anything.
friends
eli will have plenty of friends. however, most of these "friends" will be his patients. he's definitely not popular by any means, but since many of his clients are popular kids, he's on good terms with them and gets the chance to go to parties. eli is a smart kid, but he has no motivation or sense of responsibility. he's still immature for his age so any close friends would have to be able to deal with him.
enemies
as said before, elijah is immature and irresponsible. this can get on people's nerves so of course he'll have some enemies. he's not exactly trustworthy either. he is completely fine with lying, cheating, and stealing. just hope you're not on the receiving end.
lovers
while elijah is heterosexual, he has no interest in romance. his parents have a failed marriage but refuse to get a divorce. his mother is constantly having sex with men half her age. eli's father is a workaholic that couldn't care less whether his mother is tainting their marriage. he never really had a good model of love so he feels as if he doesn't need it. this doesn't mean he won't have sex especially if he's under the influence.

noah is a seventeen year old junior at mayview academy. unlike many of his fellow students at the school, noah is attending mayview on scholarship. he studied hard, scored high on his SATs, and applied for mayview academy all on his own. his father is a good for nothing verbal abusive drunk who can barely keep a job. even by normal standards, the fox family was poor. when noah's mother was alive, she kept the family afloat on a nurse's salary. she taught noah that education was never an option and it was her dream to send him to a school where he would be able to soar academically. he decided to dedicate most of his high school career to studying after his mother passed away when he was in eigth grade. his father was driving drunk while his mother was in the passenger seat. he drove pass a red light and a truck hit the passenger side. the doctors at the hosptial attempted to revive her, but she died in the emergency room. now he does everything he can to make his mother proud though that doesn't mean he always succeeds. friends noah is definitely an outcast. he is poor white trash with an alcoholic for a father. the whole school knows he's at mayview on scholarship. he can't afford to go out or buy the fancy clothes that most of the students have so he tends to fade into the background and avoid making friends with anyone. he will cling to the friends he does make. he has some attachment issues when it comes to the people he loves. he would definitely be friends with other people on scholarship. enemies being an outcast, noah will more than likely have enemies. people might tease him for being poor. they might bring up his worthless father. all this he can take. he won't tolerate anyone speaking poorly of his mother and this has gotten him in several fights in the past. noah also hates rich people and he is definitely surrounded by many of them at mayview academy. he is bound to gain some enemies this way. lovers noah is a hopeless romantic. his parents never had a good relationship, but his mother always stressed to him the importance of making a girl feel special. he is a gentleman and loves making grand gestures when it comes to romance. noah is a charmer and will flirt with many girls, but once he has intense feelings for a girl, they are his one and only. noah is not a virgin. audrey will be his final but he needs other flirts/relationships beforehand. Name buddies, much? JK, I'm pretty sure my Eli wouldn't be able to stand your Eli. Which is pretty flippin' hard to do, so congratulations! I'm going to start referring to them as Eli1 and Eli2, respectively. He wouldn't necessarily care about his drug habits (heck, while Eli1 might be a good kid, he may have hit Eli2 up for a painkiller once or twice because of shin splints. Who knows? Ibuprofen doesn't work well on those.) But he still wouldn't like him for his personality/seeming lack of a moral conscience. Eli1 would probably still be nice to him simply for the fact that he never knows when he might need something.
KAT & ELI
Okay, they're both a part of the writing club, and they aren't far apart in age. So I think it'd be pretty safe to say that they know each other. I don't think they'd quite get along. Especially since you say he's smart but just doesn't really care. That bothers her a lot. I don't know what kind of relationship of dislike they'd have honestly...if you have any ideas or something, put 'em out there. That goes for Eli2, also. Plotting is not my forte. Eli2: Sounds wonderful! Elijah isn't concerned with people liking him or not. He mostly cares if he's getting business so as long as Eli1 was a customer, he would like the guy. This, of course, doesn't mean he would change anything about his personality just to please Eli1.
Kat & Eli: I could probably see Eli teasing Kat a lot. Since they are likely to run into each other a lot, he would take a liking to her in a friendly way, even if she absolutely hated his guts. In his warped perception of friendship, him teasing Kat and her getting upset would make her happy. Writing is something he loves and most of his experimental writing happens when he's under the influence of some sort of medication. He is extremely secretive though, especially when it comes to his writing so maybe one day she reads one of his stories and that could be a plot there?
I'm no good at plotting either!

Audrey & Elijah Friends with Benefits/Patient? Audrey loves getting high. Elijah loves getting high. Audrey has money, Elijah has drugs. Audrey has drugs, Elijah has money... Seems like the perfect cocktail for self-destruction. I see them at each other's throats over drugs, in each other's pants while on the drugs, and generally sort of like a kurt & courtney crazy fuckfest but with less dying and no marriage or babies... Thoughts? Seriously gurl I'm open to anything c:

Audrey & Eli: Oh, I love the whole Kurt/Courtney take on their relationship. Eli would greatly appreciate that she doesn't want anything romantic. Just sex and drugs. I just see a whole bunch of trashed hotel rooms, screaming, drugsdrugsdrugs, and sex. I'm totally with you on this one! Whenever you want to have this two shoved in a thread, let me know.

he sounds really interesting. and i love his pb! charlie bartlett! holla anyway. i think these two could have a bit of a friendship like. i cant be sure how good of one, but when they run into each other i could see them socializing and not being completely turned off by each other.

Ozwald & Eli: Charlie Bartlett is such a quality movie! Anton Yelchin always plays amazing characters. Anyway!~ Yeah, they can be friends. Eli is a drug dealer of sorts so he may try to sell to Ozwald. If he doesn't accept, he wouldn't be offended or anything.

Eli1 would probably try to get along with Elijah simply for the fact that it takes too much energy to disagree with someone. He’d probably just get annoyed with him easily. Oh, and I’m glad Elijah isn’t one of those people-pleaser types because that would probably just piss off Eli1 even more! (‘Cause, ya know, it’s essentially lying. Meh.)

Ooh, I like this one. She’d probably just get very highly annoyed with him, especially if he starts teasing her. I think it’d be fun – Kat needs someone to harass her. But I really do like the her-finding-a-story-of-his idea because, well, basically anything could happen depending on how that goes. She might cut him some slack for being unmotivated if she really likes his writing…who knows?

Eli2: Sounds good! Elijah mostly lies to get himself in and out of situations. He doesn't care whether someone likes him or not. But yeah, I'm good with their relationship!
Kat & Eli: I would love to get these two in a thread soon! He would be pissed that she read his writing because he is extremely secretive about his life and he writes based off of life experiences. However, he would feel kind of relived that someone knows something about him other than that he sells drugs.

Kat & Eli: Sounds awesome! Maybe they're in writing club and he's teasing her then he leaves it behind. That would make the most sense since he rarely writes out in public. Then maybe he comes back and that's how he finds out that she read it? Unless, you don't want him to know until later. Either way is fine by me!

ELIJAH & TARIQ Elijah basically has no chance to get on Tariq's good side - not that I imagine he cares - if 'drug user' didn't strike him out, 'drug distributor' definitely does. The fact that everything comes so easily to him would probably irritate Tariq, too - he'd feel annoyed that Elijah was wasting his intelligence/talent/opportunities by not working hard, and basically just feel like Elijah is too young to do pretty much everything he does. I'm not sure how much reason they'd actually have to interact, but if they did I doubt it would be positive.
ELIJAH & RAFA / LORELEI I know it's very lazy to combine this, but it's pretty much the same thing for either - neither is really a drug user, but it's entirely possible they would have bought some pills from Elijah at some point. With Lorelei, it would be impulse; with Rafa, it would be because he caves easily to persuasion. Lorelei would probably like him more than Rafa would.
NOAH & BRANCH/CAL They're both the resident poor kids at Mayview - they both have dysfunctional families - they're both outcasts. Friends?
