Sam is smart. Extremely smart. Problem is, she knows it, and can be rather arrogant about it. She tries not to look down on people that are not as intelligent as herself, but she can’t seem to help throwing sarcastic remarks at them. That’s one thing about Sam: she’s very sarcastic, and just loves dry humor. This can be attractive to the few who find it funny, but it very often scares people off or tires them. The people who really know her, though, know that her dry humor and sarcasm is really just a defense mechanism and a way to keep her guard up and not let people in.
As a FRIEND: [/color]
Sam finds it hard to make friends, due to the fact that she’s guarded and not very sociable. She’d rather stay with her cat curled up with a book in front of the fire than go out partying. However, to the few friends she does have, Sam is very loyal. She will stand up for her friends, and help them through any trouble. So, she probably wouldn't have too many friends, but a few close ones would be nice

She'd probably have a few of these. One thing about Sam, that again, can be tiring to some and attractive to others, is the fact that she has very strong oppinions. She’s the type of person who claims to be open-minded but is usually quite close-minded about people whose oppinions differ of hers. She has no patience for religious people (she’s an atheist herself), people who discriminate (she’s gay, and if you say anything remotely homophobic, racist or sexist she will hate you forever) and people who show their feelings too much (she is the definition of “stiff upper lip”). So basically anyone who's discriminatory or dumb would get on her nerves

Awww, mah gurl needs some love. It would be hard for her to let her guard down enough to actually let someone in romantically, but if she finds the right person, she might do it. The kind of girl that Sam needs is, basically, just a sweet girl, to soften up her shell. She has a weakness for the kind of sweet, girly, shy female, although she would never admit it. She may seem very cynical and unromantic on the outside, but she's an old softie really and needs some love just like everyone.
