[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:500px; height:400px;] GAZELLE CAOILAINN MCCOURT - GAZELLE. 20. QUIET. ANGRY. LOYAL. HETEROSEXUAL. - Gazelle has always been quiet, she never says much without being spoken to first and she can gladly go hours without saying a thing. She's also literally quiet, her voice is soft and it always feels strains if she speaks too loudly. (And yet she's constantly humming...) That being said, if something prompts her to speak or she's with someone she feels comfortable around, she can be quite passionate and expressive. By nature, Gazelle is gentle. She doesn't mean to hurt anyone or anything...at least, that's how she used to be. For her entire life Ballet and theater has been her outlet, it's where she expels her pent up stress and anger that for a long time she never let out anywhere else. Not to friend, her brother...nadda. But since her life has taken a bit of a turn for the worst, dancing and singing along to Les Miserables just isn't doing it anymore and even before her brother died and her family stopped talking to her she was starting to crack. Gazelle is angry all the time, perhaps for longer than she's been away. Angry at the world, her self, her family, everything . Internally she's just a bubbling volcano that's starting to spurt. She's always had sporadic outbursts when things went wrong or when she made a mistake but those were...tears, sadness not vicious anger. Now she snaps more than she realizes. A quick history: Gazelle grew up in a completely Irish and completely Catholic and strict family. She was sheltered, her mother was a few notches under the suffocating mother in Black Swan. She didn't have a hamburger for the first time until a grade eight field trip, sleepovers were non-existent, prayers were said more than she'd ever care to remember and God held place in her parents hearts instead of her...but her brother? He was loved, cherished. He was such a good little boy...or so they thought. He was sneaky and rebellious and found ways to live. Gazelle didn't. The one thing her mother gave her was Ballet and a good work ethic. The night of her nineteenth birthday, Gazelle came home from her suffocating Catholic school for the weekend...so did her brother. They snuck out together to see a concert. Now, adults having to sneak out? They didn't have the patience to put up with their mother, not that weekend...oh no. They took a cab and the subway to get there...in the cab on the way home a drunk driver hit them. Cabbie nearly died, Gazelle got out with her left arm broken in three places and a concussion but her brother? Her parents wouldn't listen to her, they wouldn't let her explain anything. They blame her and stopped talking to her the day they drove her back to school from the hospital. Three months ago, she gave up on trying to get them to answer her calls. She gave up on being at a Catholic school when she was a organized religion hating Atheist. So, she saved up as much money as she could, took the rest of her tuition money from her school account, dropped out and moved back to her home town. Why? She doesn't know. It was the most on a whim thing she'd ever done by far. She got a job as a receptionist at the local veterinary clinic and she has no idea what the hell she's doing. For friends, since her brother's death she's been more close off than she cares to admit. The girl who was once rather honest can't bare to speak the truth about anything. (although if forced...she'd crack like an egg.) Gazelle's kind and loyal and she'll have your back if she knows that you'll have hers. She likes laughing, she really does even if she seems a bit uptight and overly serious. She's a victim of her upbringing and she's trying to break old habits (not going so well.) She'd probably get along with a few people from work, maybe a person or two from the ballet studio once she joins...although, she's a tyrant when she's dancing...she'd definitely gain some enemies there, that's for sure. She's a vicious perfectionist, so good luck apologizing to her if you screw up while dancing with her. Well, at least at first...just because she gets angry doesn't mean she approves of it later. She usually hates herself afterwards...Now romance? Well, there's already a plot going there but...it would be fun for her to go on an awkward date or two. She's had plenty of those. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:500px; height:400px;] NIALL ANDREW GATSBY - NIALL. 19. RASH. GREGARIOUS. CHARMING. BISEXUAL. - This boy just does not give a fuck. He does what he wants and he does things his own way. He hates authority figures and he never did well in school because he could never sit long enough to listen to a damn thing the teacher said nor did he have the motivation to do well. He just didn't care. The only thing this boy is good at is soccer and being trusted to do something absolutely ridiculous on a whim or a dare or a bet. He's jumped off bridges into freezing cold water, chugged milk, eaten handfuls of jalapeno peppers, stolen a car...the list goes on and on. He never thinks before he does anything; he just does it. He loves people, they're the best distraction. Niall is also a bit of an ass, he makes no means to be nice to anyone if he doesn't feel like it. He can be relatively inconsiderate and self-centered and doesn't pay much attention to the needs of anyone. He's yet to realize that he has to grow up and sooner than he would like for the soul fact that his mother is sick and it's not looking good. He can be quite a sweetheart sometimes, if he wants something from you or if he genuinely likes you (and you better feel like the damn holy grail if he does). He's affectionate and charming and knows just when to flash his pretty little smile. Much as he's lead others to believe, he really does crave companionship and he hates being on his own. The thing is, he could be a nice guy but he just chooses not to be. Some years ago, his father admitted to a long winded affair and since than Niall can't bare to even talk to the man. He's forced to see him when he comes and visits his younger sister, Georgiana, but he'll barely even look at him. George is seven years old and she's the only person on this planet that Niall seems to really and truly care for. He'll blow friends of, dates off or anyone off if she asks him too...most of the time at least. He's not perfect. He's forgotten to pick her up from school many times and he once was so drunk and hung over he forgot her birthday but he cares about her more than anything and wants the best for her. George is the only person on this planet that he'd grow up for, although he hasn't really accepted such a fact yet. At home, Niall is her primary guardian. His mother is too out of it from medication and the pain to do much of anything, although she tries. He has quite the bit of animosity towards her, after his father left she just shut down. Niall was barely fifteen at the time and he was left to take care of his sister at the time. As much as he loves her, he's hoping and praying for his mother to just get better already so that he can leave. He wants out of this damn town, he has people to do and things to see. Not even sweet George can stop him from doing that.... Niall will have plenty of friends, young and old. He's a social creature but that doesn't mean his friends actually mean much to him at all. He'll probably have a couple in his life that he's known since he was a child but they'll probably care more about him than he cares for them, or so he'd like to have them think. Niall does not do commitment and he's never really had stable relationship...in fact he's a bit of a man whore. And the boy will definitely have some enemies...probably a good few. HIS APPLICATION |
[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:500px; height:400px;] BEAU AGNES HODGINS - BEAU.17.HETREOSEXUAL.ROMANTIC.CREATIVE. NAIVE.PRETENTIOUS - Beau Agnes Hodgins is a girl who loves red, old movie stars, wine, cigarettes and art museums. She's a girl who loves too much and thinks too little before she acts. She's a girl who creates and draws and dreams of styling films well enough to get her an oscar. She's a girl who is, frankly, intelligent but think she's more intelligent than she truly is. She's pretentious and doesn't know as much as she thinks she knows. She desires to be as enticing as a leading lady, as mysterious and cultured and knowledgeable...but she's a seventeen year old girl who has never left the country let alone been to the other side of it, really before coming to Hadley. Here are a few things to know about Beau: She falls in love quickly, she likes red wine and frequently drinks too much on Sunday nights. She's got an affinity for fire, plays with her lighter too much and has a candle buying addiction. She can talk too much at times but she's incredibly passionate and a good listener when the time comes. But, perhaps, her greatest fault is how easily she trusts people, how easily she believes them and it's safe to say her heart has been broken many a times because of this. Her family is...well, it's her family. There's her, her mother, her father and her younger sister, Noah. Frankly, she doesn't get along with her parents all too well and didn't object to their decision to send her to boarding school. She loves them but ever since her father had an affair...things had drifted and fallen apart. Romance? Most certainly. As I've mentioned, she 'falls in love' quickly and I'm sure she'll of had a fling or two, some broken relationships etc etc since she came to Mayview Academy two years ago. Sometimes she moves on in a day, other times she pines for weeks, months...you never quite know with Beau how she'll take a broken heart. She's not entirely one for one night stands but that doesn't mean they don't happen. When it comes to her friends, Beau is fiercely protective of them. Beau can be a little self-interested at times but usually she bounces back from her self-absorbed rants and realizes the situation in front of her (but not always, and she's lost friends because of it.) Beau is incredibly thoughtful and likes to dote on her close friends, showering them with small gifts and trinkets now and again. They mean the world to her. Enemies? Oh yes. Beau is passionate and at times puts herself above others, even if that's something she herself hates. Beau isn't entirely aware of her pretentious manner, however. She hates with the same passion as she loves. It is possible for one to redeem themselves in Beau's eyes but it's not a regular occurrence. If someone truly desires to be in her good graces again, they must prove it to her, otherwise, see ya later alligator... HER APPLICATION |
