He was born and raised in Paris, France to an orchestral pianist for a father and piano teacher for a mother, so as you can imagine, he was brought up musically. Needless to say, he spent his entire childhood picking away at a baby grand, and he became quite the musician in the process. Now, it’s his one passion, and he aspires to become a well-known composer in the future. Alongside the piano, he plays the guitar (among various other string instruments), but not to the extent or intensity of his beloved piano, and he also sings a little. Not many people get to hear his singing voice, because he’s remarkably shy, and it holds him back from accomplishing a lot. When it comes to having friends, Felix is a bit of introvert. Not by choice, really, he’s just grown up that way. He spent a lot of time by himself, playing piano, as a kid, and it’s evident, because he’s incredibly awkward. It’s not as though he doesn’t try to make friends, because, well, he certainly does. He merely fails miserably, stuttering and tripping over unfamiliar English terms. Having said that, he still needs some! I think that, considering he’s new, there should be some people who might take him under their wing, or, even, serve as a bad influence or something. I’m not sure. He does need friends though. I can’t see him having that many enemies, because he’s presh, but that’s not to say they won’t exist. Surely, Felix will say the wrong thing to the wrong person at one point or another, and it rubs them the wrong way. Or maybe he earns himself a bully. Endless possibilities here. The thought of love and Felix together make me laugh. He’s just so damn awkward, but that’s not to say crushes won’t form at one point or another. Some fun could be had here, as well, but let it be known that he’s not a smooth guy, and he’s eventually going to realize that Claire is the apple of his eye. Truly, it comes effortlessly to him, and for that reason, most people hate him… among various other reasons, of course. He’s been attending Mayview for the entire four years, stirring up trouble throughout the entirety of his stay. His father’s a big time lawyer in the south, so needless to say, Gabe rarely has to suffer the consequences of his actions. In fact, a couple of years ago, when he was sixteen, he was in a car accident with his younger brother that involved driving under the influence. While his younger brother (who had been 14 and completely sober) didn’t survive, both Gabe and the driver (who was 18) did. Of course, Gabriel got away with minor charges of under aged drinking, but the driver went to jail, and, potentially, is still there. Gabe doesn’t care to know. To this day, however, he blames himself for his little brother’s death, but he doesn’t talk about it much. He lets it boil inside; that, and his miserable relationship with his father are both reasons for his constantly sour mood. Obviously, Gabe doesn’t have too many friends… just the few that’ll likely be there to the end, because they don’t really have a choice. He’s a pretty shitty friend, but that’s not to say that he doesn’t try sometimes. He’s just really rough around the edges and his efforts usually go unnoticed. Calling you names is sometimes, but not always, a form of endearment in his world. Sometimes, they’re just insults. Gabe is really touch and go with friends. Sometimes he wants ‘em, sometime he hates everyone. Actually, usually he hates everyone. He needs people in his life who can tolerate his tendencies. Enemies should be plentiful. Gabe hates everyone. He likes to wreck relationships, so that could bring some hate to his court… He likes to start fights and cause shit. There are seriously endless possibilities in the world of hating Gabe. Throw something, anything, his way and it’ll probably work. He’s a hater. Also, enemies can also be his friend. I can see his relationships being open to change, depending on his mood on that particular day. He might hate someone the next, but be half civilized towards them the next. I dunno. Romantically, Gabe is uninvolved. He doesn’t do the whole ‘feeling’ thing. He prefers to sleep around and not have to worry about commitment. Having said that, he should have lots of friends with benefits and casual flings and such thing. Perhaps some dysfunctional, short lived relationships and affairs. Who knows? I am all ears, though. He's Canadian, having grown up on Walpole Island, a native reserve located on the Canadian-U.S. border. He doesn't talk about his home much, mind you, because there rests a bit of resentment towards his father, who also happens to be the reserve's chief. It's a touchy area for Emery, but he's grown up with family issues, and he prefers to leave them be. Having said that, it's safe to conclude that he's a fairly mature fellow. Generally, he cares about the well being of others and goes by the standard golden rule (unless, of course, you happen to lay a finger on his younger brother, in which case, you'd best look out). He's always been incredibly protective over his little brother; he'd go to no ends to protect him, and it's been that way for as long as he can remember. He's always felt the need to watch out for his brother, and so for that reason, he's become super responsible. I picture Emery to have a fair amount of friends. He's hugely loyal, and he'd never purposely do anything to hurt someone he loves. I mean, he's basically a good guy to have on your side, 'cause he'd do anything if you needed him to. He'd have your back and so on, so forth. He's nice and protective, too. That's always a plus. I also picture Emery to have a fair amount of people who dislike. Let's be honest, he tries to be a well liked fellow, but he can be pretty intimidating. And he's got a temper, that he mainly loses when someone hurts his little brother. He wouldn't hesitate in clocking you in the chin if you did something to his bro. He also doesn't stand for half the shit he sees, so if he ever saw something unjust, he'd likely step in and break it up or, at least, try to make things right. I can see people disliking him for that. Ya know. I figure that Emery is a pretty romantic guy, and when I say that, I mean he'd go to no ends to make a girl happy. I don't think he'd sleep around, really, because he's fairly traditional in that manner, but he's open to relationships and such... maybe even friends with benefits, depending on the friendship, itself. She's the twin sister of Dee's Ivan Price, but unlike him, she is sheltered from her father's heavy contribution in the mafia. She knows a little from what she's heard from others, but she doesn't like to think about it, or even believe it, for that manner. She prefers to turn a blind eye. She does, however, know that, legally, he owns a chain of bars and clubs throughout Southern California. Now, Lily's an incredibly loving girl; she loves her family without doubt, and does her very best to ignore the things she hears about her brother... because, you see, she's trusting, and, perhaps, gullible, at times, and her family is always #1. She's been coddled her entire life, and she loathes it. For this reason, she's beyond stubborn, and likes to do things her own way. She's incredibly busy, being involved in three sports (soccer, tennis & cross country) and three extra curricular organizations (student council, debate & helping hands). She loves to have something to do, as you can tell. I can imagine Lily to have a fair amount of friends. She's friendly, obviously, and she'd include anyone, and all that kind hearted stuff. To be honest, while she likes to be viewed as an independent young lady, she'd probably be pretty dependent on her besties, because she's got terrible self esteem, and she'd need her bestie time every so often. She'd always put 'em first, blah, blah, and listen when they need her. With Lily, it's pretty much a promise. She'd feel guilty if it were any other way. Surely, she'd have enemies like any other. I can't see her standing for anyone mistreating someone else (she would LOATHE Gabe). I think she'd stand up for an underdog, which, of course, would annoy bullies, or whatever, so some grudges could form from that (though, Lily's not one for lasting grudges). And, I mean, she's probably made teams/student council over some people, so there's room for some disliking there... and there are probably people who have something against her twin brother Ivan, and it might leak over to her. She'd defend him to all ends. Lily is a romantic. Of course, she's had boyfriends before, but probably nothing serious. There's room for EVERYTHING in this section. FELIX
Isabella: She’s one of those popular girls that is into charity work and getting her fingers into as many different bowls as she can, basically an over achiever. They’re both Juniors so will likely have classes together. She’s originally from Brazil but well educated in English so the language barrier isn’t anything that she’s ever had a problem with but could understand how he might have some difficulty and sympathize. Isabella also plays the piano but not nearly as grandiose as Felix, still that would interest her and might be a point of interest between them to have a casual friendship.

Dominic: He’ll be your resident bully. Dom gives off that vibe that he’s the kid from the wrong side of the tracks, Baltimore bred, and into all those things that your mother warned you about. The thing about him though is he’s consistent about his behavior so he’s usually going to be a jerk, not that he’s singling Felix out just that he’s like that with everyone. It’ll likely have them at odds with one another and Dominic wont make any effort to patch up a strained acquaintance between them.

Teagan: Again, same grade. She’s real shy and introverted too, also prone to stuttering- though she’s Irish rather than it being that she doesn’t know English words that well. I think these two might be likely candidates to be confidants to one another. Teagan might feel safer talking with him because he’s kind of kindred, you know. She might have a crush on him at some point in time too.

Lola: Oh lawd have mercy. This Southern sweetheart will probably have him tripping all over himself with how forward she is about things. I can see her slipping up next to him with a pretty smile on her face and telling him to talk dirty to her in French. Lets get that awkwardness really standing out in him.

GABE
Isabella: She’s a feisty Latina and with Gabe’s attitude I could see them having at it more than a few times. Isabella is trying to mature out of that stage and be more lady like and hold her composure but some people can still make her blood boil. Maybe it pisses him off that he can’t piss her off any more- at least not externally instead Isabella sort of just waving him off or something along those lines so he’s gung-ho about making her hate him? She might call him out on his behavior only pissing him off even more.

Dominic: They should get along fairly well. Dom is an unpleasant person to be around too generally and they can get into plenty of trouble together. Dominic is also strangely tolerant of arguments, like he’ll get into a fight one day and just be over it the next without any grudges held. So they could get into full-blown fistfight and then he’d be cool with Gabe the next day.

Teagan: She’ll be kind of terrified of him. If avoidance isn’t possible Teagan will be like some timid little kitten around him doing her best not to have too much of his negative attention on her. She’s a really easy target for him though already having low self-esteem and she’s nothing impressive in her eyes so he’ll have plenty to press her about if he notices her at all.

Lola: I’m thinking a quick burst of flame between them. Lola is a passionate person putting her affections into relationships with people, usually multiple people at a time, but it never lasts because as much as she loves the idea of love she’s just not ready for that sort of thing. Lola would like pressing his buttons to see how he reacts and she doesn’t scare easily so him blowing up at her wont have her running off or anything like that. It could turn into one of those lasting friendships.

Friends? They wouldn't have that many classes together because of the fact they are in different grades, and they don't have that many (or any actually) activities together, so they would probably just be good acquaintances, maybe she seeks him out as a friend because he doesn't piss her off and it's like a breath of calm, stable air. I haven't got a lot of ideas for these two, do you?

FELIX&PHOEBE
SIBLINGS WOOHOO.

So I think we have a pretty good grasp on how these two interact. Felix worries over his hyperactive, overly emotional and slightly headstrong sister, Phoebe looks out to pop some people in the mouth who don't like Felix and to generally try and get him to live a little. It was briefly talked about that she would try and help nudge along Flaire, considering she's rooming with Claire and Felix is her brother, plus being matchmaker would give a break to her antics of boy-chasing.


GABE&TEU
Not friends. At all. They would in all actuality probably hate each other, or at least Teu would seriously despise him. The way he acts (how it's kind of similar to her), the way he treats those around him, that seemingly cocky smile, these two would butt heads so much I could see that people in their grade could sense tension from Margaret as soon as she enters the same room. Possibly it stemmed from some long ago forgotten crush of her embarrassing preteen (middle school) years and she just loathes him now, but I could see some very hilarious situations where she has to deal with the fact that he still exists.

GABE&PHOEBE
uhm, I think she'd rocket back and forth between disliking him and wanting to stick around to see what he does next. She's just growing up in the world, and while he would aggravate her, she would also stick around because he's entertaining and someone to keep her on her toes (plus if felix saw them together he might die of a heart attack), though I don't think Gabe would go for her unless he just liked to ruin the innocence of overly peppy musicians. uhm... any other ideas? I pretty much fail at doing these.

A casual friendship sounds perfect. Felix would adore her, because, let's be honest, he adores everyone who's kind to him. If she were to let on that she played piano (even if not at the level he does), he would insist upon sitting down at a piano and playing cute little duets. It'd be lovely.

In all honesty, Felix would do his very best to ignore him... he'd keep his head down when he makes a remark, etc. He'd be incredibly intimidated by him.

Confidants sounds perfect. Felix needs those, and while it'd be awkward in the very beginning, I can see him opening up and being able to confide in her and actually becoming comfortable with her. Lovely c:

Lola would make Felix feel so incredibly uncomfortable, I love it. I can see his face becoming, like, beat red whenever she approaches him, and he'd probably do his very best to keep his head down when she's around. He's a baby like that, but, this makes me smile, haha.

I'll be straight up: Gabe would love to piss Isabella off. It would make him grin from ear to ear. If there's one thing he truly adores, it's getting under other's skin, and if she started to ignore him, he'd make his personal mission to annoy her. He's good at too. He'd get such a kick out of her hating him. Hatred fuels him, haha. I can see him like... purposely calling her out, etc.

GABE & DOMINIC
They should sort of be friends. I don't think Gabe likes people who like him, but he'd tolerate Dom, I'm sure. I bet Dom would make him laugh/smirk, at the least, and I'm sure they've got some common interests go, as far as pissing people off, etc.

GABE & TEAGAN
Gabe would, more than likely, ignore her existence. Let's be honest, he's just an asshole. He might wink at her in the hallways, or something, if he were ever to notice her, just to fluster her. I imagine he does that to a lot of the younger girls. Again-- asshole.

GABE & LOLA
He might get pissed at her a lot, but I'm sure he'd get over it. They could be iffy friends, because, of course, Gabe isn't really a true friend. Haha. But yes. BURST OF FLAME. She would amuse him greatly.

I enjoy this. A lot. He would get such a kick out of her hatred for him. It would make him happy, and then he'd go out of his way to continuously piss her off, because that's just his way. If he ever knew about her old crush on him, he'd bring it up constantly just to anger her. It'd be beautiful.

His mild manner is something that would attract her but with him also being intimidating she would be a little standoffish at first until some act of fate pushed them together for whatever reason and had them striking up a conversation. I'd say it'd be a casual kind of acquaintance that when they see each other they'll be friendly but wouldn't necessarily seek the other other on whim or any specific purpose.

EMERY&DOMINIC
He's likely going to be hell for his little brother so we both know what that means- major animosity from Emery. It would just make Dom laugh though and go on about his business. He's a fighter himself so might result in some physical violence too on occasion.

She's going to be good friends with Rafa so I'm not too sure how that would affect how Emery views her, but for the most part she would like his personality. If he isn't fond of Rafa for some bastard child mentality that he's got going on or for whatever reason Isabella is going to be loyal to Rafa so Emery might get some sass from her, maybe even lectured on just how much of an idiot she thinks he is. lol

EMERY&LOLA
She's essentially a mean girl with that obliviousness to her actions being taken harshly so I'm not sure he'd like her all that much. But, obviously, Emery is gorgeous so her being the little promiscuous miss that she is will be flirty with him and pretty much ignore whatever negativity he might have to say about her. She's persistent really.

They're both in cross country, and although Lily is a bit older than Philippa, I think they'd get along. Philippa is a very bubbly, outgoing, optimistic person. She's also pretty naive and trusting of people, and even if she'd heard about Lily's family, she probably wouldn't care at all.

oh boy, these two probably hate each other. alex is gabe's dormmate's boyfriend, meaning he might be hanging around the dorm room a bit. they probably don't get on at all since gabe's an ass and alex is a bitch but i can picture them having really snarky moments whenever they meet ("meeting your boyfriend, fag?" "yeah, we're about to fuck on your bed. better change your sheets when you get back.").

GABE & TARIQ Tariq would hate him. They've probably been ~enemies all four years. They're both the sons of lawyers, but that's really where the similarities end. Pretty much everything about Gabe would rub Tariq the wrong way - his personality, his behaviour, his habits, everything - but what would bother him the most is the fact that they have friends in common. Actually, lbr, let's put it in plain English: THEY BOTH WANT TO SLEEP WITH ANNA MURPHY. It's a recipe for hatred. Plus Tariq is a close friend of Stevie, and iirc he's friends with Bridget too - although less so. He'd just object to Gabe on a ~moral level~, regard him with suspicion, and feel like he was a bad/harmful influence on people he cares about. He'd probably be very icy to him.

GABE & LORELEI Lorelei isn't really very attracted to men, but I think she and Gabe would most likely have some kind of involvement. They're both seemingly amoral seniors and pretty exclusive in terms of their opinions of people, so maybe they regard each other with - at least a little bit of - respect. I don't know. Either way, either they've hooked up in the past, are currently hooking up, or feel as if they should be but Lorelei keeps backing out from it at the very last minute. She talks big enough to give the opposite impression, but she's actually somewhat sexually inhibited. SHE'S VERY REPRESSED TBH.

GABE & RAFA Fellow rugby players. Rafa is an easygoing soul and would probably find Gabe's belligerence pretty unpleasant, but he'd make an effort to keep the peace.



EMERY & TARIQ I can really see these two being friends. I think they'd find a lot of points of commonality - they both seem to have calm, reserved personalities and seem sort of... I don't know... polite. A little bit old-fashioned in some ways. I might be wrong, but I can just see them feeling a little bit of an alliance against how vulgar and brash a lot of their peers can be.

Gabriel and Alex, I agree, will definitely hate each other, but, perhaps, there could be more to it. Alex obviously spends a lot of time in Gabe and Bradley's dorm, so I can see Gabriel forming this mindset of "NO, ONLY I CAN MAKE ALEX'S LIFE HELL" if other people were to torment him. It's sort of hard to explain, but it sort of makes sense in my head?

GABRIEL & TARIQ
Gabriel would get such a kick out of Tariq; the fact that he so hates him would just make him laugh, and so on. Obviously, he'd go out of his way to piss Tariq off, and whenever they were both around Anna, he'd throw her stupid & meaningless remarks just to bother him. Gabe would love fueling the fire, basically.

I sort of like these two. Even if they haven't officially hooked up, the reputation of them in that manner probably exists, because, lbr, they both belong to that sort of clique. As far as an actual friendship goes, he'd probably appreciate her personality and he might get a kick out of bothering her, or something along those lines. I'm sure they'd at least be friends, of some sorts.

Sye would know Felix from class, but I can really imagine them having some sort of strange friendship. His shyness wouldn't be much of an issue, it would be that quality about him that stops her from hating his sorry ass. She'd be loud and annoying so he doesn't have to be! Not to mention she could be a complete bad influence on him. When thinks about doing something, she goes ahead and fucking does it. And she'll gladly drag Felix down to the pits of hell with her. And not just small school pranks. Sye's talking about getting wasted, forcing him to go skinnydipping and shoplifting CDs that she wants. Sye would call him her 'project,' to turn a socially awkward nerd into a so-called normal human being. Though she really would care about him, even if she isn't the most perfect friend to him, and would get ultra mad if anybody was to hurt or pick on him. Kind of like a brother-sister relationship.
