Theo was standing against a fence behind the bleachers, of the football stadium. A cloud of smoke was cleansing the air with cigarette stench. He looked as if he had no care in the world; he carried himself with ease, a smug expression planted firmly onto his ever so cocky face. His 'buddies' were standing around him, laughing, and talking about the dumbest things he ever heard. Why he really stood around them, he had no fricken clue. It was really only for the appearance of it all. If Theodore could have it his way, he would be standing here alone, filling his lungs with smoke. He had always been the type of man that preferred his alone time, he was a born loner. This just was not the way Theodore could get along with people in this school. If he wanted to keep his status in the popularity card, he had to be with the people that kept him here. He had to be involved in a social setting to get into events, to keep his name sane, and keep people wondering who he was. The man that wheedled his way into being popular, but also had a sort of mystery about him. He hardly ever talked only when needed, and when it was needed most of the time all eyes were upon him.
He was not even bothering to listen until a familiar name perked his ears. 'yeah, isabella diaz, that sexy ass, banged her last night,' Theodore bit down on his lips to keep himself from laughing. His eyes narrowed over to the young man that claimed this to be the case. His eyes searched the kid looking for a hint of truth behind his statement. Nothing seemed to strike Theo has if he was being honest. This boy was known to be one of the biggest liars of all his friends. It seemed he took a taking to pretending he had sex with the hottest girls on campus, but when it came down to it, Theodore here was one hundred percent certain the boy was a virgin. Just the way he carried himself was proof enough. He knew some of the other boys in his group had not believed the young man, but nobody tested him. Why would they? He was a Professor's son; one of the hardest Professors of the school, one wrong word and their grades would be cut to a core. One of the boys piped up and smoothly said, 'aw fuck man, how was she?' Theo turned to watch as the boy started to talk in very sexual details of the night the two had, including some sort of birthmark he claimed she had. This caused Theo to let out a laugh, knowing for a fact this was a lie. Only a man that believed Isabella was not an easy lay had the balls to even go into that sort of depth about her appearance underneath her clothes. It seemed another man in the group caught onto his lie but he did not speak of it either.
The boys in the group quickly turned to look at Theo with a raised eyes, wondering if he knew something they did not. He took a puff of smoke, then looked at them, ever so lightly shrugging his shoulders, "Mmm, sounds like a great night," was all that he allowed to escape his mouth. Out of the corner of his eyes that is where he saw her appear, "Speaking of the devil," he muttered underneath his breath, gesturing over to his right to see Isabella had just so happened to be a few feet away. He watched as the boy that had previously been talking to her, shrink into himself, face going red, causing Theodore to let out another laugh.

As always Isabella had been running around with more on her plate than the average teenager. Classes had gone by too slowly for her liking and getting texts all throughout the day regarding matters from the dance committee to update on a certain petition that she was involved in to preserve an old museum in the next town over to event planner staff that was hired to help with Mrs. Grey’s fundraiser that she was heading for Isabella along with randomness from friends about whatever little issue they were having that day that they either just wanted to rant about or actually have advice on, she was constantly kept on her toes. Spending cheerleading practice in the gym before the basketball players took it up for their practice Isabella wasn’t satisfied with the amount of time she’d gotten.
She had wanted to practice her triple handspring but that hadn’t been on the agenda for the day having to learn a new routine for the next basketball game’s halftime. Being a dancer when it came to choreography Isabella picked it up fairly quick but she understood the necessity to spend an entire practice on it. It wasn’t just about learning the steps it was also about meshing together well as a unit. It could be disastrous otherwise with girls tripping over one another. Isabella definitely wouldn’t be having any of that. Heading to the girl’s locker room to change out of her cheerleading uniform and into her warm-ups instead as it was still too cold outside to wear that short of a skirt without a coat Isabella changed quickly. By the time she came out, duffle bag slung over her shoulder, the boys were already out on the court filling the gym with the sounds of sneaker squeaking, balls being dribbled, tough talk, and the rim vibrating from rebounds. Giving them a small wave she set off to go to the football field, it wasn’t being used this time of year the season having ended not to long ago and conditioning wouldn’t start until a couple weeks before school.
Walking out onto the field Isabella headed toward the bleachers to drop her bag off only to hear the faint sound of voices, one of which she was familiar with. Letting the bag drop Issy considered her options. Either she could let them enjoy the view pretending like they didn’t exist or shoo them off so she could practice in peace. Pulling her hair up into a ponytail so it wouldn’t be in her face while she was doing her flips she started toward where the voice had come from. She laid eyes on the group hanging out beneath the bleachers smoking and chuckled. Isabella leant her shoulder against the railing looking the boys over, amused. ”I didn’t think people hung out under the bleacher since the eighties.” Licking her lips, brow raised looking directly at Theo she couldn’t help but point her sassiness at him. ”With that hair, Darling, you could certainly pass.”

He bit down on his lip; he again had to hold back his laughter. The boy that had been referring to her only a few moments ago, was bright red. It was all the indication the group seemed to need to realize he had been lying. Theodore here still could not quite grasp why they fell for this boy's lies so quickly. Just the way the boy expressed himself seemed to wreak of the 'filthy tell-tale lies' he always seemed to tell. Just the other day he was trying to convince people that he had been sleeping around with a local reality star on Christmas break. The kids stories were always so farfetched. Theo had debunked the Isabella story long before the kid even mentioned Isabella's birthmark. The kid seemed to clam up and Theodore shook his head ever so lightly, before letting his eyes scan over to Isabella. Recalling the night they had a few nights ago, what the young kid had described did not even come close to just how satisfying the woman was behind closed doors.
He licked his lips, eyeing Isabella ever so lightly, before scuffing at her comment. The cigarette that was in his hand dropped to the ground, as he squished it underneath his black, leather shoes. He let her words sink in a bit as a smug expression appeared on his lips yet again. The boys he had been surrounding himself with were looking at him waiting for his response. Theo loved the attention he was already getting, as their eyes wondered back and forth between the two. "My you must have some sort of fascination with me, Ms. Diaz," he paused briefly, glancing around the boys, "I mean out of all these men you could be directing your comments at you choose me, I'm very honored." he licked his lips, before slowly pulling out another cigarette from his jacket with ease, not yet lighting it. Then that smug looked turned even more cocky as he continued,
"You didn't seem to mind my hair the other night, Isabella. When you were pulling it and screaming my name," he allowed himself to say in an ever so cocky voice, then continued to make a small mockery out of the woman standing before him, "Oh Theo," he breathed out in a chivalry girls voice. He licked his lips before placing the cigarette in between his lips, and lit it up. He had not planned on going that far with his remarks, it all just slipped out so smoothly. Besides, she took a knock at him, so he took a knock at her. He did not bother to make any eye contact with anyone and instead let his eyes stare into the distance, no real emotion on his face. He could however tell that the people surrounding him were waiting impatiently for her reply, and wondering if his statement was a fact. He had not really cared what they were assuming, he knew the truth, she knew the truth...it was all that really mattered at that precise moment. It was him against her, not him against them.

The others in the group wouldn't have said anything back to her. She had seen them around before and for all their tough talk amongst one another when it came down to it the lot of them were pretty cowardice when it came to dealing with other people. They talked the talk but they didn't really have that much going for them as far as actions were concerned. to her knowledge the kid, for whatever reason, whose face was red was the worst one of them all. Isabella didn't even bother to wonder what had him so embarrassed because she could care less. She had targeted Theo because he was the most entertaining of the group. Though she understood why he might hang out with them she still thought he was an idiot for it. Theo wasn't like her though, her popularity had come naturally while he had to work his way up to the position so it meant he had to do things that he might not have wanted to in order to keep that status.
"As you should be." Isabella didn't see any reason why she should justify why she singled him out of the group. In a way she was helping him out. He got the attention and didn't have to do anything that he didn't want to. She figured that he enjoyed bantering with her much more than he did listening to the tall tales of these boys. That look on his face she didn't like one bit and as soon as his mouth opened again Isabella was made aware of why. She had been pretty sure Theo wouldn't use their relationship together as a point of interest. In the past he had been good about indiscretions and Isabella had been banking on that, which had been why she didn't specify to him that it was to stay between them. Maybe she was just too good of a conquest not to share with the class though.
She wanted to scold him for opening his mouth but Isabella had never engaged in rumors before. To confirm or deny anything was useless to her because people were always going to think what they wanted regardless. If she made a scene out of what he was saying now rather than keeping her composure as always it just would have been an admittance to things. To stay silent on the matter though was just as bad letting people's imaginations wander. A small smile came onto her lips deciding how she was going to guide the beliefs of his friends without lying and saying that it didn't happen. Taking a few steps forward, putting herself closer to Theo she looked up at him sweetly. "If you'd like I'll pull your hair and scream your name right now." She was threatening him of course and despite the innocence in her tone the message was sure to get across to all of them. She was latina so being feisty was all part of her personality.

He licked his lips watching her walk over to him. The boys surrounding him quickly took a few steps back. Were they seriously thinking an actual fight was about to start? He wouldn't be surprised if they even started chanting the words 'fight, fight, fight' rather stupid idea if they did though. Theodore would never lay a hand on a woman, not a hand of violence anyways. A sexual hand more than likely, with the woman in front of him it was not more than likely, because that likeliness had happened plenty of times for him. He looked down at her as if he was bored with her already; he allowed a small strand of smoke to blow in her face. He knew he was already pushing his limits with her. For starters, announcing that they had a sex life was probably not a key note he should have brought up. Nevertheless, Theo was full of surprises, and if she wanted to get even cockier with him those surprises would show up in a more full force. The second thing that would more than likely not settle with her in a retro respect would be him blowing smoke in her face. He already knew just how much she hated cigarette’s, but it hadn't stopped him. He seemed to have no real filter.
His eyes went from her shoes, all the way up her body, until they reached her eyes. He was purposely examining every inch of her. He reached his hand out, and with his thumb, he gently caressed the side of her cheek, "Go ahead, darling," he breathed out. Then ever so slightly bent his head down to her, in a bowing position, "I don't mind it rough..." he egged her on a little bit more. Rather she would harm him or not he didn't care. He knew she was feisty. He also knew that she was not physically all that weak either, he had the marks on his back to prove that little bit of information. If his reputation got a little dented today, it would most definitely have its perks just to see her even a little bit heated. "I most certainly love your Latina blood, Ms. Diaz," he looked up slightly from his stance, giving her a futile wink.
He had almost forgotten where he was at. Almost because his main attention had fallen upon Isabella. It was not until the red-faced boy had decided to pipe up. hi isabella. the boy squeaked out. This time Theodore could not exactly contain his laughter, as he eyed the kid. It would have been much better for the kid to have stayed quiet, instead of speaking. Just the way he was approaching her showed that the boy had nerves being this close to her, and he looked almost afraid of her. If he had actually slept with Isabella there was no way in hell, he would have been so frightened of her. Just the way Theodore was interacting with her was very different compared to the way this other kid was trying to interact with her. If Theodore had actually been nice enough to bother with making friends, he may have tried to give him tips. However, he had no real desire to deal with him outside of scheduled school.

It was intentional. Him pushing her buttons couldn’t be anything else other than intentional because even though they avoided getting to know one another too well there were always things that you managed to pick up about other people. Theo knew that she wasn’t someone to trifle with and bat around like some mischievous kitten batting around a ball of yarn, especially when assuming the roles that she was the yarn and he the kitten. Theo was already walking on thin ice as it was and venturing further and further out onto it. She held her breath as the smoke blew in her face having no desire to breathe it in. Isabella wasn’t a fan of cigarettes and definitely didn’t appreciate Theo blowing his smoke into her face. While the other seemed to have some common sense not to test her Theo went against the grain seemingly doing his best to rile her up. It was plain disrespectful.
While she didn’t really mind him looking her over the way that he had, she was offended by him getting closer to her and touching her like he was in front of his useless friends- or whatever he considered them. Her defense to swat his hand away was resisted not even so much as flinching at his caress. Theo was trying to goad her and make her crack under pressure, at least that was the way that Isabella was seeing it. Her boiling point was close to being reached and when that happened Isabella had a tendency to throw one of her tantrums and it very rarely ended well for the person on the receiving end of it. It was best to avoid that though. Isabella didn’t really like having her feathers ruffled to that extent and it was an ugly scene. Keeping her composure and handling herself like a lady was key. Theo was just making that extremely difficult. His wink pushed her just a little bit further and she closed her eyes turning her face away from his touch.
She was pretty swept up in the intensity between her and Theo too until one of the boys spoke up. Remembering her manners Isabella looked to him with a complimentary smile on her lips. ”Good afternoon.” The boy’s name was escaping her though, probably because she had never known it in the first place. ’Gentlemen,” She nodded to the others keeping her gaze on them while her fingers curled around the collar of Theo’s jacket giving him a tug downward. ”Would you mind giving us a bit of privacy? It seems Theodore here needs a lesson in respect.” The other boys were wary of her having shrunk away when she came up to them and stunned into silence, for the most part, while she and Theo had at it. It wasn’t any shock that they were so willing to comply to her polite request and started to head off though one of the boys did clasp Theo on the shoulder a gesture of luck. In their minds Theo had just dug himself a hole that Isabella was about to bury him in and she was courteous enough to allow him his death in privacy. Smiling and waving with her other hand Isabella watched them leave and only when she was sure that they were alone did she turn her attention back to Theo giving him a hard look. ”What the hell was that?” She shoved him letting out an agitated huff.

As most of his friends would be afraid right now, this was not the thoughts running through Theo's head. If anything, this was just excitement for him. The men had been quick to leave when Isabella forced them away. A small, "wimps," escaped his breath, as he rolled his eyes at the boy that clapped him on the shoulders. Theodore was not even a smidge worried about needing any sort of luck in facing the woman before him. Certainly, she had a fiery about her but it was nothing he could not handle. He allowed his head to come out of its bowing position, slowly making eye contact with Isabella, a mischievous look inside his eyes, that cocky expression still playing on his face. An expression Isabella knew all too well. It was rather clear he did not feel even slightly threatened being alone with her. Even with her hand on his collar, he was at ease in his body. It was not until he felt himself being shoved, and he fell back taken ever so slightly off-guard, into the fence.
"Ow," he muttered under his breath. “You’re lucky I like it rough,” he spat out slightly, It had not hurt all that much, it was just the reaction. His loss of balance however did not falter him much too long. He soon was leaning against the fence, giving Isabella a smirk, "Damn, has anybody ever told you, you look incredibly sexy pissed off?" he licked his lip, and then ever so lightly bit down on his lower lip, giving her a slight wink. He should have been expecting her anger. Most often Theodore never announced aloud of his 'sexescapades' it had not even been intentional. It just slipped out of his mouth in such a natural tone, for the two always had some sort of banter with each other. It was almost human instinct for him to be cocky with Isabella, to try to out snap her in any remarks that hit him in the face. He felt he succeeded just for the little known fact at how riled up she was. Did he honestly care that she was pissed that he had mentioned what happened between them? Not at all. It was not as if he could take it back, so why dwell on the past?
It had also not meant the boys would believe what he was saying. Theodore had been known to make sexual references to girl in his past. Rather they all be true or not, Theo left that up for the judgment of his peers. Most often, they were true but when he was asked to come to complete clarification, he would simply shrug his shoulders, let their own minds do the talking. Most often people would assume he was telling the truth, simply because girls had talked about sleeping with Theodore before. It wasn't always kept quiet. As for Isabella's sake, she might just be a different story for the little fact she wasn't like most girls that Theo brought back to his dorm room. She had that reputation of being more of a fantasy girl then an actual reality girl. Not every man was brave enough to approach her, those that were...well, to be hell, he had no idea as to just how much the girl standing before him really did get around. He could assume, but he rather not waste his time wondering about stupid wonderizations. "I didn't say anything that wasn't true, darling. I don't understand the problem?"

Watching him fall against the fence Isabella was slightly appeased by the action. It was far less than what he deserved. Just because Isabella wasn’t much to play in the rumor mill didn’t mean that she didn’t get cranky when someone was bringing things up about her personal life that she thought should be private. She had been with other boys in the past, not many because she was very selective of her partners, but at the moment Theo was the only one that she was sleeping with and it was solely for the no strings attached satisfaction of certain urges. Isabella didn’t think it was anyone’s business as to who she had been with and Theo had almost let the cat out of the bag. If she had known the context of what she had come up on with the other boy lying about his conquests she might not have been so upset with Theo. It would have been easy for the group to think that he was just shooting the breeze too and trying to amp up his reputation.
She was lucky he liked it rough? Wasn’t that a laugh! It was more like Theo was lucky. Isabella took a deep breath smoothing her hands down the front of her top, preening. Shedding away the hardness that she had formed for him in those brief moments of her anger Isabella snapped her head up looking at him incredulously. ”You just don’t know when to shut up, do you?” He was dangerously close to firing her up yet again. The compliment, she was sure, was more to rile her than it was to actually be gesture of forgiveness or an attempt to appeal to her better nature. She really didn’t want to have another outburst toward him. Just the one had been risky enough. If the boys started to get a little too curious and came back Isabella didn’t want to give anything away or inadvertently confirm the claims that Theo had just made.
As he got comfortable against the fence Isabella moved in closer to him linking her fingers in the fence at his side. She kept a few inches between them though. He hadn’t said anything untrue she couldn’t argue with that but Isabella really didn’t want to have anything sparking amongst the students, especially as with Nate’s sister and a few other sources making it possible for word to get to him wasn’t very beneficial on her part. Isabella was still thinking about his proposal at that point and nothing between them was official but in the event that it did become that way she wanted a clean slate and Theo was bad news. ”The problem is that when I prefer certain confidentiality. We didn’t discuss this before and apparently that was a mistake but I feel it’s a good a time as any to bring the matter up. Maybe this didn’t occur to you but you’re not exactly good news Theo. You serve your purpose and very well but how about from now on you keep your stupidly adorable mouth shut, yes?” Giving him a saccharine smile her hand came up to his cheek giving it a not-so-nice tap.

He reached his thumb up to his nose, and brushed away imaginary dirt from the tip. His eyes giving a sideway glanced toward Isabella. It had been rather amusing to him how every other person's views differed on him. When it came to Theodore, it was not often that woman claimed he did not know how to shut up. It seemed to be the exact opposite. Many women had complained he did not talk enough. These circumstances with Isabella more than likely fell under a bit of a different category then what most woman would be referring to. As she was trying to get him to shut up about their sex life, others were more adapt to trying to get Theo to talk about what happens after they had a night of 'love making,' as many often claimed it. You would think Theodore here would be more grateful for a woman like Isabella. He should not have been taking quite so much advantage of what happened between them. She had not expected anything more out of him, then just pleasure. Whereas other women were often trying to take more than just pleasure from him, they wanted a commitment...foolish woman. This however, still did not keep Theo's mouth shut. He seemed to have word vomit around the young, Junior Woman.
"I believe you walked into this yourself, doll." he said with a slight shrug of his shoulders. Theo then allowed himself to turn ever so slightly, inching a bit closer to her. Inhaling the smoke from his cigarette before exhaling it into her face, for the second time that day. His fingers then dropped the cig at her feet, and he took his black leather shoes, and squished it into the dirt. His eyes traveled back up to meet hers, but no smug look appeared etched out onto his face this time. Instead, it went back to a non-slate emotion, as he leaned back up against the fence. He had honestly felt the young woman brought it upon herself. He did not feel he owed her any sort of explanation for his actions. She had not needed to walk up to the group of boys. If she had wanted to there was no real reason for her comments to have been directed toward Theo.
Of course, Theo had not minded that she had. If anything, the other boys were drooling just at the prospect of how close Theo and Isabella had been. It had not mattered how intense the look in both of their eyes had been, nor that she was not happy with Theo at that particular moment. The men that were here earlier would have just killed for her to even know they existed. Most of all that pimply, red-faced kid that claimed to sleep with her last night. They did however run off when she asked them to leave...rather typical actually. Whipped by a woman that wouldn't even whip them. He rolled his eyes as she went into a bit of a rant, complaining about his actions from earlier. "Oh, ouch. That hurts, that really hurts," he put his lip up into a fake pout, at the mention of bad news. "I'm rather certain, Isabella, you knew I was bad news before I made you scream my name.." he paused, looked up at the sky as if he was having some sort of deep thought, before shrugging his own shoulders. "You were the one that offered up that game stake, not me. You walked into it yourself. You never said anything about it staying confidential." he paused briefly, "But, you don't have to worry that pretty, little head of yours, i'm certain the boys weren't thinking into what I said too much"

While Theo was so very content with thinking she had walked into the situation herself Isabella had a different view on the matter. Of all the things that he could have responded with he had went for what he had, in her opinion, on purpose. She probably should have known better. She and Theo had always tried to hit each other where it hurt most, the majority of people thinking that they hated each other. Their previous game had been to further torture the other and when they had finally surrendered- not putting up the white flag but at least easing off a bit- apparently Isabella had made the mistake in lowering her guard slightly too. Theo did have something that he could hold over her now and he didn’t shy away from confrontation with her like most people did. He didn’t buckle under the pressure when it came to Isabella and pissing her off was seeming to increasingly become a favorite hobby of his.
Again with the smoke, a ripple of anger passed through her again and her grip on the fence tightened. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to do to him more at the moment, kick his ass or turn that feistiness into fun. Isabella shook those thoughts off quickly though. She just wanted to be pissed off at him and though he was triggering that in her perfectly well he was also hitting another nerve with her. The displeasure of his action was written all over her face and again, she held her breath so that she wouldn’t inhale his nasty second hand smoke. If Isabella had cared even a tiny bit about Theo she might have asked him the appeal in smoking and tried discouraging him from it but she didn’t so he could be left to his devices without the concerned nagging from her.
She wouldn’t dispute that she knew he was bad news from the start. That had been the appeal to begin with. They could have their fun and there wouldn’t be any of that messy emotional mess. Some might have interpreted that as Isabella being cold hearted but really it had been to preserve anyone from getting too attached to her with what was in store for her and them if they didn’t back off. Her father didn’t change his mind on things without a suitable replacement. That was why Theo had been perfect for the game stake as he had referred to it as. Other boys would have gotten emotional about it and wanted to actually know Isabella. Theo on the other hand he was enough of a jerk not to care anything about her. ”What makes you so confident of that? Do you have a reputation amongst them for lying about your involvements?” She had been under the impression that Theo kept his mouth shut but apparently that wasn’t the case so she wanted to know what assurances he had on the matter.

He lightly rolled his shoulders back. He would not exactly call it a 'lying reputation' it was more a game he played with the boys. A sexual joke, thrown at a woman was common for Theodore. It was like the joke people commonly threw at a person when saying 'your mom,' not a Joke Theo used, his were of course more sexual geared. Rather they believed this joke to be certain or not, it was all up to their own conclusions. Theodore was not the type of man that went around saying materials such as the pimply-faced kid had 'i banged her last night' was never really in his vocabulary. His interactions with woman were what brought people to assume if he slept with someone or not, and the woman's reaction to Theo's words. If anything the way Isabella was acting was what would give her away, he hadn't planned on confirming anything to his 'friends' He liked that about himself. He liked to leave people wondering which woman Theo hit the jackpot with. Most people probably assumed what he was saying was true, just for the simple fact that, Theo had been known to get around, that was no secret. Woman spilled their guts about Theo, that or, someone somehow witnessed Theo taking a woman back to his dorm...that of course, only meant one thing when it came to Theo...sex.
"You're different." he concluded, shortly after her inquiry of him being known as a liar. "You're not a girl many men find easy to capture, darling. You should have realized by now those words I echoed, well, you're not the first woman i've spoken them to." he paused a bit, then gave her a pitiful look. "Your reaction is what’s going to make you seem like I was telling the truth, shouldn't have sent my dear friends away, Isabella. tsk. tsk. tsk. Makes it look like you have something to hide," a smug look slowly started to creep up on his face. He had not really cared if her reputation was ruined because of him. She really should start to learn to hold her tongue a little bit, at least around Theo because Theo really had no filters, the more he spoke, the worst the situation could end up for Isabella. Not that she couldn't hold her own but she seemed to have a small panic surrounding her. "For all they know I could have just been talking smack to make your blood boil with even more anger...Mmm.." he paused, reaching up and stroking her cheek with his thumb for the second time that day, "We all know i'm good at making that happen...and not just out of anger,"
It had been true, everything he was saying. Nobody could ever be one hundred percent certain Theodore was telling the truth. Most often, they assumed he was because of his history. And, to be hell, Theodore here had never made any sexual reference to a woman he had not slept with before, or had a sexual encounter with before. What fun would that have been? It made his comebacks worse when the woman knew that it was one hundred percent true. But as he had mentioned to her, Isabella was a different kind of girl in most men’s eyes, a fantasy, not a reality. Except well for Theo, she had been a reality. He licked his lips before letting out a small, "You're just simply one of those fantasy girls to most," pausing, he concluded with, "Except for me darling, you gave me a pretty good reality," he finished up with a wink, before allowing himself to fall back into the fence, a backhanded compliment somewhere hidden in his speech. His eyes then looked away from her, a look appeared on his face as if he had forgotten she was even there, but he was very much aware of her presence.

Naturally, Theo would avoid originality in favor of repetition. It wasn’t that he wasn’t capable of originality just that she didn’t really think he was one to put too much effort toward females. Theo didn’t have much use for them other than sex and though she didn’t know too much about him other than those things that people picked up on from being around one another often, he hadn’t ever struck her as the kind of guy that appreciated females for what all they had to offer, just what he found useful. Isabella could have found him unappealing for that and scrunched her nose up at his lack of respect but then she would have had to turn the feeling around on herself. After all that was the way she treated him. Yes, he was a good time and Isabella did appreciate him for the purpose to her that he had always served but did she really respect him in the morning? No, not really. She was just as bad as he was, at least in one particular case in her life.
He was right about one thing though she was different. Everyone always had something to hide and for her Theo was hardly the darkest secret that she harbored. He was tame even. That smugness in him was what had excited her previous reaction and was usually the thing that got her going every other time before too. It got under her skin. For the most part Isabella wasn’t too fazed by people but with Theo he had always rubbed her all wrong in all the right places. Isabella had been potentially tactless in her response and sending the others off but as he had mentioned himself she was different. If it came down to it, without lying about the circumstances of course, it could always be spun to give off the impression that she really had just been lecturing Theo on respecting the person that she was and how it was unwise to use his generic come ons on her.
It only managed to make her blood boil even more that not only had she allowed him to get to her but that he was enjoying it so much. His hand sent that familiar shiver through her that Isabella did her best to ignore. By that point though her skin was practically buzzing she was so on edge. For the briefest of moment’s she had thought that Theo would just leave it at her being a fantasy girl, surrendering over a pure compliment in penitence for being a jackass but that had been giving him too much credit. Her gaze roamed over Theo scrutinizingly as he seemed to go off and ignore her though she doubted that he could ever do that fully. A small smile flitted onto her lips. ”What it is about pissing me off that gives you so much satisfaction?” It had always been the core to their rapport with each other and since Isabella really had nothing to lose at the moment having already giving him the win for that particular battle between them she didn’t see any reason that she couldn’t capitalize on the situation and maybe salvage something from it aside from apparently living up to the fantasy.

His eyes still made no attempt to look at her. He was still in the position pretending as if she was not there. He allowed the two to sit in silence for a few moments, a glazed over look in his brown eyes. He then slowly turned his head to look at her. A smug look making its way back onto his face. It seemed as if he had won this little battle, rather quickly he might add. "It's easy," he paused, as if giving himself time to think of some better explanation. His statement had not exactly been entirely true. Pissing off Isabella had never been one of the easiest tasks. He had a way to push her buttons, and he seemed to get them pushed multiple times today. Most often, he was more in favor of seducing the woman, but when that was not in the cards, he had to amuse himself somehow. Theodore had always been a man for games. If it was not their seduction game, it was his make her pissed off game. He always had a thing for seeing woman furious; they became so unpredictable once he made their blood boil in agony.
"Did I not already tell you? You're sexy as hell pissed off, Isabella. Rather entertaining for me to be able to watch your blood boil in more than one way" he licked his lip, bit down on his lip lightly, winked at her, and then allowed his eyes to drift away from her face again. She would not be receiving any real answer to her question. Not that Theo really had any logic behind making her angry. This was the first time he had ever seen her get this bent out of shape about something he said before. If he had been any other person, he might have cared more as to why. He may have even stopped realizing how far he took it, but Theodore really had no real limits when it came to pushing anyone’s buttons. He had been the type of person that loved intense moments, rather they be in the bedroom, or in general. He would not consider this to be a highlight of his day, but it would be something he could look back at later and simply laugh about.
He then took out his third cigarette and lit it up, placing it in between his lips. He had wasted the last two, just for the hell of it. He had to be fortunate enough that he was wealthy, for many would look at him with an idiot expression if they were smokers. Smoking did not come cheap and lucky for Theodore he never had to worry about money. His expression then went back to no real emotion, as he stared away from her again, this time the silence did not remain as long, before he looked back over at her, “You’re still here?” he questioned her in a rhetorical sense.

How very predictable of him. With the females that he was usually involved with Theo would get satisfaction out things that were easy. Isabella wasn’t really buying that line though. While some people might have sat around contemplating the reasons behind their actions, self-reflecting on every little thing about themselves, he didn’t seem like one of them. Whatever whim struck him at any given moment was likely what Theo did and never thought about the consequences that might follow. Isabella didn’t shun him for that, she thought it would get him into more trouble than it was worth, but that was his business and since they didn’t have that kind of relationship Isabella wasn’t going to help with any revelations same as she didn’t lecture him about his smoking but if he blew it into her face one more time she wouldn’t take it as kindly as she had the previous two.
Yet another thing that Theo was doing to get under her skin and it wasn’t even his fault. Isabella had set herself up for his smugness and to be entertained by watching her make mistakes her mind being clouded by that high stressed irritation she presently had for him. She hated that he had any sort of effect on her, but not because she didn’t enjoy their games together, rather because she was currently being a poor sport about having so foolish slipped so quickly. Maybe it was because she was so on edge about the whole Nate thing and deciding what she was going to do about it. Usually if Isabella needed to talk to someone about something like that it would have been Nate but now that he was the thing she was struggling with obviously that was out of the question. Isabella was off her game and realizing that and wanting to wipe that smug look off his face was motivation to shape up.
Isabella had gone off into her own mind for a few moments as Theo went about ignoring her. She hadn’t come out there to waste her time with Theo however, another round where she would come out on top to make up for the momentary lapse could be worked out still using her original purpose. ”How would you feel about helping me out with something?” Isabella was already walking away from him giving Theo a nice view of her ass. If he said no she could play it off as no big deal and if he agreed then they could get back to what they were good at with one another. She looked over her shoulder at him letting her gaze travel down his body slowly. ”Like say... limbering me up?” Isabella was still walking away but her pace was sluggish and the swagger of her hips tantalizing.

Today had been almost too easy for him. It seemed she had taken her ego down a notch and allowed him the upper hand. He almost wished he had told his buddies to stay around and watch the show. If they had she wouldn't even have been able to gain any uphold on Theo, not that she really had today. With every remark that escaped her lips, none of them seemed to even catch Theo too off-handed. Isabella seemed to be more on track of asking him questions then getting even with him. He did not quite understand why she was bothering to ask him items, which she nearly already knew all of the answers to. She should have been around him enough to know by now; that he did not give too much care in the world. In Theo's world, he majority only cared about...well to put it lightly hardly anyone anymore. It seemed throughout all his life the people he once cared about gave him reasons not to care anymore. This was even a fact with his parents, they sent him away, and they were never around. Had their ever been a real point to care about someone that you never even saw? Unfortunately, rather he would admit it upfront, or even inside his head, he did have an ounce of human instincts to caring about certain items in his life. Whenever the young Morin boy was around his father, he did often care what the man thought; he after all did plan to inherit the man's company someday.
He let the smoke flow out of his mouth, waiting for some sort of reaction from the woman. He had known her well enough to assume she would not simply leave. What happened next was what had taken him only slight off-guard. His eyes narrowed down to watch her as she scanned over his body with her eyes. He bit down on his lip, as a small smirk crossed his face. He had known what she was doing he was not at all stupid. His predictions were rather accurate as he watched her walk off. It had not been a simple walk either; she was putting effort into the way she was walking, purposely teasing him. Theodore did not jump as fast as some men would, and instead sat back against the fence, finishing his cigarette. He would let her get a bit ahead of him before; he would catch up with her. Rather he moved automatically or not it still had not stopped his eyes from staring at her ass, and admiring her walk. After a few moments, he dropped his cigarette, stomped on it and strided to catch up with her.
"Now why would I help you?" he asked with ease, his hands going into his coat's pockets, as he finally was now walking next to her, rather than behind.
