And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
Whom did the man really have to impress? The only people in this world that really mattered to him were his parents. The parents that seemingly decided to ship him off to boarding school to where they had no real knowledge of who their son was. The times when Theodore needed his family, the most kind of destroyed him in the long end. He never got that after heartbreak speech like most children received, in fact, his family never knew he had been 'seeing someone.' The minute he tried to express his heartbreak to his mother she brushed it off. Business always came first in the Morin household. It was not exactly a real excuse for who he had become but for a kid that felt like he had nobody in the world at school being a former geek, and even at home, he seemed to turn to a bad side of sleeping around, and deciding to let the black take over his heart. Deciding he would no longer care about what people thought of him and his plan in life was to just live his life with no regrets, and have a hell of a good time. And, this is exactly what he did.
At home, things were seemingly different while his parents lurked the house. He stayed in most evenings if they were around just for a small outer layer look for his parents to see he was a well-behaved young adult, far from the truth but he planned on taking over his father's law firm someday. If his father caught wind to his real persona here in Hadley, things would not be as easy for him in his near future. He practically had his life all figured out being forever young, a bachelor, who just so happened to roll in dough. When his father passed on, he would then get everything and live in a peaceful money bliss. This was not to say every so often while his father was in town he didn't sneak off, because he did find himself antsy every now and again. His father knew of some of the parties he went to but felt a boy at his age needed to get it out of his system and it was only natural. The only thing is father did not know was just how bad Theo's habits really were.
He scoffed at her comment but chose not to say anything. Figuring eventually within time if he kept his mouth trap shut, the woman across from him would catch the hint and do him the same favor. If not at least for a little while, he knew how woman were with their talking habits. Isabella Dias was really no different even in the bedroom, pleasing her, the woman was well spoken but those words were words he didn't mind. Finishing his meal, he let out a low moan, eyeing the waitress for a brief moment. With one last swallow he let out a, "That was delightful," he would have paid for the bill, or at least his half because he was never one to honestly pay for a woman's meal, maybe a drink but the meal seemed to be a little too date like which was not Theo's style. What he had not expected was Isabella to pay for his as well but he chose not to dwell on it or even acknowledge her for it. It was generous but he didn't ask for her to do such a thing so he felt he owed her no thanks. He licked his lips and stood up, "Yeah, ok."
Theo however did not head straight to the door and instead made his way over to the waitress. "Hey, doll. Whenever you get off work or have some free time, hit me up." he winked at her, as he passed her a small piece of paper he had written his number on. Turning away from the woman who he left blushing and giddy he trotted back over to Isabella with a smug expression on his face. Part of him only doing this to prove a point as to just how easy this task would be for him. "A test drive is about all you'll be getting. Better enjoy it while you can" reaching into his pockets he pulled out his keys and handed them over to her, as he opened the door for her which was about the only nice thing she'd ever have him do for her, but he still managed to have some chivalry when dealing with woman.

If Isabella had taken the extra moment to think about where Theo was heading in his life after high school she would have envisioned him flipping burgers at the local McDonald’s after being disgraced by his father for his horrid behavior. There was only so much a proud man like Mr. Morin could allow from the general ideal of boys will be boys before a foot would have to be placed down. Isabella hadn’t been a saint during her time at Mayview, she attended parties, drank underage, sometimes slept with boys whom she was not in a solid relationship with, such as the case with Theo, but she was dutiful in the way that she conducted herself and how she was presented to society. Isabella had done the debuntante thing, was considered an upstanding member of high-class society and involved herself in numerous charity functions to help her family name look good. Theo on the other hand was a manwhore and contributed nothing but negative reputation to his name.
Just the same if she had known that he was to become a lawyer she might have rudely laughed in his face. Did he really have the dedication for something like that or the wit to work his way around the system to best suit him and his clients? It would have been one of those instances where there must have been more than met the eye because otherwise, Theo’s claim of what you see is what you get would have been coming around to bite him in the ass. She didn’t acknowledge his comment assuming that it was for the waitress that was still swooning over some hidden trait in Theo that Isabella must have been blind or immune to. She was up and out and her seat heading toward the door without so much as a glance back while Theo went off to address the waitress that seemed so hooked on him.
Isabella would have made it out the door and down the street to wait by the car for him if she hadn’t been stopped by a young man a few tables over who had, apparently, witnessed some of their interactions. He stopped her to tell Isabella that she deserved better than the boy that she was currently wasting her time with, that Theo needed to be dropped if he was going to treat her the way that he was. It would have seemed that the man was under the impression that they were together. Her first reaction, which she repressed, was offense, but she understood how he might have come to that conclusion that they were together. Explaining to him vaguely, because the stranger didn’t need to know all the details, that they weren’t together and the circumstances didn’t revolve around anything of the sort her slipped in giving her his number. She took it graciously before excusing herself and making it to the door before Theo was even finished ‘charming’ the waitress.
She gave Theo a polite smile as he made it over to her, his comment only enticing the grin. ”I like that you’re so confident about this. It’ll make winning your car that much sweeter.” Taking the keys off his hands Isabella stepped out the door. ”Thank you.” She was slightly surprised by the gesture but figured it must have been a fluke or something of that sort. As she recalled where he had told her the car was parked Isabella took herself in that direction and laying eyes on the car felt a shiver pass through her. It was a nice car. Her fingers gingerly smoothed down the hood as she worked her way to the door, opening it up and slipping into the driver’s seat getting nice and comfortable. Turning the keys over in the ignition Isabella’s teeth sunk into her lower lip, hands caressing the steering wheel as the engine purred.

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are
Following the woman out into the parking lot a soft scuff escaped his lips as his eyes lingered on her. Who the hell did this girl even think she was? What the hell had Theo even been thinking agreeing on this bet? What was he really gaining out of this little experience? Oh right? More dignity and respect for debedding Isabella Dias. Although some boys in the school were now speculating the prospect of the two hooking up after their encounter on the football field the other day. She nearly lost her cool with him and the boys wondered and questioned Theo on a daily basis on how it was to be with Isabella or on the other hand just questioned if he had really been with her. Instead of ever answering he simply smirked at the men and kept himself quiet. He liked to leave them wondering and practically begging him daily for information. However, in the case with Isabella Dias he just wouldn't kiss and tell...she was much too fun of a conquest for him. A conquest he fully enjoyed until she decided to be a bit too needy on the football field even if it ended with her thanking him, which he never really looked into all that much.
So what was he doing here? Why was he insisting on going through with this bet? The only real conclusion would have to be because he didn't know how to say no when it came to Isabella. The two's relationship basis had always been about the challenge and now that one was gone they found a new challenge. Unfortunately, this challenge could lose him his car but he was much too keen to prove Isabella wrong. He was much too adamant about wanting to beat Isabella, and be better than the woman who always knew how to push his buttons so of course he ended up saying yes. Unfortunately, for him he really did not know what he just walked himself into. Because if anyone was going to be the match to proving Theo wrong it was this girl but he was too bullheaded to let himself think this. So with that cocky Theodore Morin smirk he followed her out to the car and got into the car after her.
Looking at her that cocky expression never subsided, "Ah it all makes sense now Ms. Dias." he breathed out, looking at her with a delightful expression. "This car has such fond memories of your time with me. It only makes sense you'd want to have it all to yourself...now that our little game is over and you can never have me again. The next best thing to me? My car of course..." he gestured down to his pants, an indication of what he was referring to although it was not likely she needed any reminder. Then with his finger, he lightly traced her jawline before turning back around in his seat and looking out the window. "Well, go ahead take her for a spin because this is the last time you'll ever be in this car."
